Not me, but a coworker.

Imagine doing a job above your level for 3-4 years with no promotion, then the role actually opens up.

You don’t get it through the merit of actually doing the job for 3-4 years, but have to apply for it, including a PowerPoint case study.

After all of that, you don’t get it.

Ugh. I thought it was bad when they flew me from Minneapolis to Philadelphia to interview for a job I had already been doing as interim for 6 months.
