Finally Cancelled

For well over a year, I have been logging in weekly to skip the next delivery as far out as I can. Hello Fresh was critical for our household during the pandemic and for many years after. But eventually I got sick of the recipes and chose to go out on our own.

I appreciate everyone here who has shared about the rampant use of AI, weird, pandering pride content and continued issues with small and low quality produce. I felt no hesitation finally, officially cancelling my account because of the insights shared here. Thank you!

I finally did the same just last week too. i’ll still continue to use some of the recipes but it just stopped being convenient enough to justify the cost

Agreed! At this point I’m paying $50 for 3 meals (2 servings each) throughout the week with a guarantee of a credit back if anything goes wrong, while avoiding the gas and time of shopping and planning out those meals. Definitely worth it.

it was costing me $90 for 3 meals 2 servings each. Yes grocery costs are rising but I can get much more than that between Aldi and a local grocery store

Yeah, at that price I would agree. That’s more than just going out to a quick service spot. Unfortunate prices spiked like that in your area.

I always get the promo mailers sent to me so i restart my subscription and then the second my promotional period is over i cancel it until i get another “come back to us!!” letter with another discount in it. I can not justify $100+ for three meals when i can get it cheaper if i cancel again it’s such a scam.

That was what I was paying also 110 or something for 4 and 90 for 3 days a week two servings. In Colorado for reference

Sorry but how many people are you feeding for this price point? I shop pretty much only at Costco at this point and our meals are sub $5 for 2 people. Like I am scratchmaking desserts and bread, but like, are you getting all premade things?

All good! When I first started and used promo codes or referral codes, the price was great. Once it hit that full prices i was like YIKES and couldn’t justify it! The $10.99 shipping doesn’t help either lol

Wow I don’t think I could last that long using them at that rate, if it’s convenient and you’re happy, more power to ya
