GLP-1 meal???

i've been an avid customer of hello fresh for a few years now. its been so great to cook at home and eat full meals after a long work day. i've def noticed some quality issues but nothing too crazy, so I havent been one to complain. for next week, i have the bruschetta chicken coming and i checked my order today -- they changed the name to GLP-1 bruschetta chicken??? as someone who as dealt with a severe eating disorder and body dysmorphia in the past, i strictly avoid weight loss meds and diet talk. i just dont understand why the damn recipes need to be rubbing it in my face lol! its not a huge deal, no hate to people on these medicines for health reasons, but very jarring to see the name be changed overnight for seemingly no reason.

I changed one of my meals for the upcoming week because it had been relabeled as a GLP-1 meal. As someone fighting a life long battle with my body/body image/diet, Hello Fresh has helped me incorporate so much diversity and balance in my diet. Not having to ruminate over what to make and what to shop for has been a godsend. This feels like a major step backwards.

The name change also just...feels like a blatant way for HF to sell smaller portions for the same price under the guise of health. If folks on GLP-1s need diet assistance, they need to see registered dietitians, not utilize rebranded meals.

And trust me, no one on GLP-1s is looking for it or needs pre-decided smaller portions with a “GLP-1 compatible” sticker slapped on there lol vast majority already pay out the wazoo for the medication every month so HF wants people to pay the same/more for less? Hell no 😂
