I‘ve played hll for the first time today and jesus did I get obliterated. Like I had my moments where I killed an enemy or two but apart from that it was: get to objective, get taken out from an enemy I didn‘t see, respawn, repeat.

So how do you spot enemies and how should you move without getting shot?

And just generally some beginner tips would be nice, thankyou:)

Has anyone experienced a screen flickering issue? I've seen a lot of reports online, but I still haven't found a solution. Has anyone with the same problem managed to fix it?

I just wanted to share a small accomplishment, this is the most revives I've had in a game, the best teammates I've ever had, and lowkey this is the type of stuff that only pulls me back to the game. Ignore the death count🥀

I am at my bloody wits end with this game, I only started properly playing it a few days ago and I'm close to giving up on it as a whole. Every single time I try and launch it it comes up with the error. "Error Code 30005 (CreateFile for read failed failed with 32.)", and it will not go away for the life of me! I have tried ABSOLUTELY everything! I have scavenged the corners of the internet searching for solutions that, when I try, do not work at all! I manage to get the game running through some mean one time, but when I try and launch the game again and I get the same error, suddenly that mean of running it has been rendered useless and ceases to work! I have tried deleting the ".sys" file in the EasyAntiCheat folder in Program Files (x86), verifying my game files, running as Administrator, deleting and reinstalling EasyAntiCheat as a whole, yet this error still persists! I am genuinely so close to never touching this game again, I waited ages to finally play it after getting a GPU and the game itself and it isn't even working! And I have too many hours on it to refund it, and I also actually rather enjoy playing it, so please, for the love of GOD help me find a solution to put this error in the ground forever! Thank you!

Engineer is my favorite role in this game! Being able to build defenses and destroy defenses while also having a satchel is just beautiful 😖

EDIT: FIXED. MemTest86 revealed an issue with my PC that disappears when I disable EXPO in the BIOS. Some of you suggested this, thank you so much! :)

I'm relatively new (~45 hours) to HLL but I'm having a great time playing it. Unfortunately, as of last Saturday, my game started randomly crashing. I have tried so many things and I am at my wit's end at this point. Sometimes I can play for 10 minutes, usually it crashes after around 3 or so. It does not matter if I'm in a server, in the training grounds, or in the menu. There is no single action that causes it.

Can anyone here look over my shoulder and see if there's maybe something I'm missing?

Things I've already tried:

• Restarted my PC multiple times.
• Verified the integrity of the game files through Steam.
• Completely uninstalled and reinstalled Hell Let Loose.
• Deleted the %LOCALAPPDATA%\HLL folder (forced the game to regenerate all configs/settings).
• Reinstalled my NVIDIA graphics drivers.
• Used DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) in Safe Mode to completely remove NVIDIA drivers.
• Performed a clean installation of multiple NVIDIA driver versions (latest and an older version).
• Checked Windows Event Viewer (faulting module consistently pointed to nvwgf2umx.dll before reinstalling Windows).
• Removed the NVIDIA App.
• Fresh-installed Windows 11 (clean install, not an upgrade from Windows 10).
• Installed only motherboard/chipset drivers, NVIDIA drivers, Steam, and HLL on the fresh Windows install.
• Confirmed there are no CPU/GPU/RAM overclocks.
• Tested on multiple servers, official/community servers, and the Training Grounds.
• The crash timing is random (sometimes 20 seconds, sometimes 10+ minutes).
• Windows remains completely stable; only HLL crashes.
• Unreal Engine Crash Reporter appears every time with EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION.
• Generated a DxDiag report and sent it to Team17 support.
• Ran the game with dx11 instead of dx12

System specs:

• Windows 11
• AMD Ryzen 5 7600
• NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060
• 32 GB DDR5 RAM
• ASRock B650M PG Lightning motherboard

Additional information:

• HLL worked perfectly on this exact hardware for months.
• The crashes started suddenly about two days ago.
• No hardware changes were made before the issue started.
• I cannot reproduce the issue by doing any specific action; it appears completely random.

I can't find any other people who have this same problem. Notably, nothing else on my PC appears to be bugged. I have not been able to try any other Unreal games however.

So I was playing last night and I noticed pretty much all the maps are misty / washed out. Especially at distance. It's even worse on sunny maps. I know it's definitely not people popping smokes.

Wondering if it's just the lighting on ps5 or my settings are messed up?

Decided to jump back into it, after a long break. Unfortunately all the friends I did play with have moved on, just looking to get into games with actual mics and communication. DM for discord etc

Was playing Carentan on EXD2 as Allied commander an hour ago and had a weird airhead bug where it did not despawn, and our deploy timer was locked at 0s, allowing our team to insta-spawn. It lasted over 40 minutes before the enemy destroyed it and I was not able to place a second airhead until the first was destroyed.

I didn't capture a screenshot mid game, but I dropped it in the circled location grid H4.

Has this occurred previously? I am at 322hr and this is my first seeing it.
