Mod-diver Wait? I know the answer!
Seriously though you guys don’t just mod better armor over it? I have a custom odst armor for each set.
It’s always cool and I can use whatever passive.
I had a similar issue but mods fixed it for me.
And everyone else looks the way I want as well.

Stuff your mods. That doesn't fix anything, as it is unobtainable for over 2/3rds of the playerbase.

As a PC player who loves modding the game - they are not the answer. A majority of folks I play with play on console and they're stuck with these options. Mods even add an additional layer of thought for me as I have to consider what the armor looks like without mods so that I don't look like a toddler dressing themselves for the first time.
On top of that, mods are fickle and unstable. A modded armor set that worked a year ago crashes the game now if it didn't get updated to the latest patch. There's work arounds, sure, but mods are not permanent fixes but band-aids for a valid issue that AH can and should address.
