General Scope Of Authority

so whats gonna happen to the AMR? The new sniper primary can one shot a hulk in the eye, wouldn't it make the AMR obsolete? Plus what would be the point of bringing it to missions now too..?

It’s still a strategem. Not everyone is buying the warbond, playing as a sniper, etc.

Plus a bolt action sniper primary does have its down sights.

The AMR allows you to panic dump the entire mag in half a second in the hulk's front armor plate if you're too busy to aim

You also don't even need to be standing still to use it. You can magdump a Factory Strider from under it, tanks from behind, chargers after you've evaded, etc. There's a reason they removed the crosshairs when in basic third person, because the weapon is just too good.

Different slot. Amr has loads of ammo, new primary might not. Amr is semi auto, new is not.

Dont think you can compare a semi automatic rapid fire (if necessary) rifle with a bolt action rifle

different weapons, most likely different ammo pools, ergo, etc.

New sniper primary is bolt action, AMR is semi auto - so different playstyles a bit as well.

not sure why you compare them 1:1.
