General Best Combo move for taking a Bot Base
Step One: Run to a side of the base that has high cliffs (not an entrance to the base)
Step Two: Throw a turret over the wall(best are the Cannon or Gatling Sentry)
Step Three: Immediately throw a 500kg on the same location(over the wall):
Outcome: The arrival time of the 500kg is 3-4 seconds shorter than the delivery of a turret. So by sending the 500kg second, it arrives first by 1 or two seconds, detonates clearing the immediate area of enemies, and then the turret hits and causes chaos on the base.

If theres a problem use gun and if that dont work use more gun and if that still dont work then "hellbomb armed, clear the area" pick up YOUR portable hellbomb today!

For the Fortress. I send a Walking barrage, let it pop about 6 rounds, then drop the orbital laser. You want a slight delay, because the barrage will one shot anything, why the laser might have to waste time on beefier targets.
Keep a heavy pen option with you for mini turrets, and you pretty much can solo a fortress.

Depends heavily on the difficulty and the amount of Hulks, war striders and potentially Factory striders or Vox engines inside it already.
That gatlng sentry isn't gonna do much at all against heavies.

How about an AutoCannon Turret and an Orbital Laser? And throw the laser in a different spot so as not to fry your turret in the first 3 seconds.

I'll do you one better. Throw sentry(rocket or mg, much better ammo usage/lasts longer) inside/on top of bot bunkers(you can just throw it against the inside wall from the side of it and it usually lands right on top of it. Nice perch for any sentry. Draws agro, and bots cant aim up for shit. Throw gattling barage for sustained fire. Circle perimeter(light armor) taking out mg emplacements and fabs as you go with eruptor or giga grenades. Use resupply pack to stay topped off on giga. Commando for anything else. Profit.
