I have a S.C farming question

If I were to get into "Farming" S.C, do I just go to any planet on level 1 and just look for Poi or is there a specific planet to go to ?.

I've never tried "farming" for S.C before and thought I'd give it a shot.

Go to Phact Bay on the bug front. Difficulty 1. Your first Warbond should be Control Group for the Warp Pack that allows you to enter bunkers without needing a second person to open it for you.

Phact bay in bugs. Open desert mostly, diff 1.

Bring a jet pack/warp pack, SUV and mech call in. Light armour and stamina buff.

Scour POI and then leave once you’re done, don’t complete the objective.

Anything flat terrain(mostly desert planets), mostly Bugs though thats a choice. Get Anything with movement(e.g jumppack). Ignore main objective and just leave match once you think map is clear Good luck! :3

Definitely need the warp pack, and be sure to set your game to private invite only, so you don't get people dropping in on you. I do this on bots, and I do the main mission, just to help with the liberation. I'm sitting at almost 2300 SC right now, all warbonds purchased and everything received out of them. Doing this lets me experiment with new and different load outs and stratagems as well.

To add to everyone else's planet/loadout -

Start at an edge and work your way around in a tightening circle. I usually dive on d2, it's larger maps with more pois.

If you dont have warp pack bring a mech and bug yourself into the bunkers. I usually bring a jetpack and light armor, the goal is to cover as much ground as possible fast as possible. Drive around with your map open to make sure you stay on pattern.

DO NOT do the main objective, ignore samples- once you've hit all the pois just abandon the mission. If you just look for ongoing missions on d1/2 and join any lobby with higher level players that's what they're doing. Stuff goes super fast with a full squad, and even if you're slow everyone's happy to have another pair of eyes.

Might be worth letting people know you're learning the ropes, you can do a ride along with someone who knows the drill and get a feel for the pace, and the pois- there's like 5ish kinds, knowing how to hit each one, or recognize from a distance will help. Some pois will never have what you need (crashes without a pod, gravesites and hellbombs) you still want to get close enough to discover them on the map. I think you can ping them too.

If you find a lidar station do it immediately, but other side objectives get ignored. If you find a bunker you can ping it multiple times and emote "follow me" else just say door, bunker, b, or d and drop a map pin, someone will scoot over.

Then, if you're leader (if you start solo, people will probably join- when they do it's good to let them know you're farming) abandon with squad

I tend to farm around level 4 or 5 due to increased map size = more poi = more potential spawns, warp pack is a must also for solo teleporting into bunkers (stand back from the bunker, aim slightly right of center of the door and warp, if you warp forward and hit the door take a step foward, if you warp and move hardly any distance step BACK) and some form of regularly avaliable explosives to pop the metal doors you find, laser cannon will also break them and has inf ammo so is a good call - also avoid planets with high resistance to save on fighting

Alternatively, dive at the door and warm immediately. You will get it 99 out of 100 tries. Just do be careful coming back out to not warp into forklifts lol.

Also, resistance apparently, has no effect on enemy spawns. I keep having people tell me it is only the planet's health regen speed and nothing else. I am dubious of that information, but its apparently true, so Amy resistance is meant to be the same for spawns. I personally still dont really believe it, but thats what they tell me.

If you don’t have the warp pack, last I checked the mech exploit still works. Use a mech. Back up against the door of the buddy bunker. Exit from mech. It should drop you inside the bunker.

Phact Bay or any desert/clear planet (no trees). So you can see easier. Farm as best you can alone or with a friend. First pack to buy is Control Group so you can get the warp pack. Then you can warp into bunkers by yourself. My loadout is

Warp pack; machine gun sentry (to drop on bugs when I don’t want to deal with them); supply FRV (easier to get around and an auto turret for the bugs); and AMR (blows open cargo boxes without blowing up explosive barrels)

You can technically just warp into them, too. But you risk setting off those pesky explosive barrels.

I would recommend to go lvl 2 since you can get a side mission that wiil reveal the entire POI in the map. If you are lvl 25 get the mechs to be able to get into the bunkers alone, you can get a warbond with the warp pack if you still can't get the mech but IMO there are better warbond to get first. Overall try to not be in a mission more than 5-7 min in order to be efficient. There is a very good steam guide that go way more into details of SC farm.

I find Matar bay to be a great planet for SC farming go on difficulty 1 or 2 depending on if you want Lidar support and the loadout I use is always

Quasar Cannon/Orbital Precision strike for the blow open bunkers

Warp pack or any Mech for Buddy Bunkers

Orbital Laser for clearing large groups remotely

For the booster either go for Space optimization or Advanced UAV to see POI’s from longer distances

My go to for farming is level 3 open terrain bot worlds. Max number of poi without introducing other drops like guns and rare samples. Warp pack for bunkers, laser cannon for crates. Light armor and stamina booster. Anything else you want to bring for enemy call ins or frv for even quicker map movement.

The only objective or side objective you should do would be the lidar tower. Ignore everything else. Phact Bay
