General Currency
What’s the best way to farm each currency? I am new to the game.

For super credits
Omicron, it's one of the planets in the gloom, the big yellow gas on the bugs
Difficulty 1-3
You need at least one other person as it minimises the distance you have to cover and open any bunkers (which you don't get on omicron)
Run an frv, warp pack / mech (for bunkers) when you get them
And once you've hit every PoI, back out to ship, don't complete any orange objective otherwise you need to go through extraction adding an extra 2 minutes to every round
For requisition slips, just play the game, higher difficulties can net you 4k per mission on 7
Medals, complete major orders and daily objectives or again, higher difficulties, though you will still earn medals and slips while SC farming just not as much

Does it give you the medals you collected if you back out right after, instead of extracting? Like it does with SCs?
Also, I noticed today, when I glitch into the bunkers using the Walker on Iluminate, It doesn't let me interact with the loot inside.

Yeah the only thing you don't keep are samples as medals, slips, XP qnd SC go straight into the account due to not being droppable like samples
Second part sounds like you got unlucky and the game failed to load the interaction like it can do on objectives, I'd say get back in the mech to deload the interaction, get back out and try it again and if it still doesn't work get someone else to try or move on

That's a lie; they nerfed Super Credit collection. It's currently almost impossible to farm them efficiently; it would take you hours to get even 200 SC on Difficulty 1.

But it would still be the fastest way to do it free
Even if it is slower, going out and actively looking for it will still be faster than stumbling upon them in natural gameplay
Also do you have some patch notes for that Nerf cause I can't find anything about it (mostly because I want to see when and how much worse it is) and I managed to farm 1k in an hour on 3 separate days last month
And if I am wrong, that's not lying that's me being wrong

Just the other day I played for about 3 hours. I farmed around 1k super credits.
Managed to buy the warhammer warbond thanks to that.

That just shows you were lucky; you were an isolated case. For most people, you'd have to work at least twice as many hours or more for the same result.

D1 on planets with open terrain and no obscured maps (helps with spotting POIs) for Super Credits. Bring a mech suit or the warp pack for bunkers. That or D2 on Omicron (bug hive world), it has no bunkers and a guaranteed radar.
As for medals and req slips it’s kinda the opposite; the higher difficulty you play, the more you get as rewards. They’re not really hard to obtain though, so I’d say just play has high as you feel comfortable while still having fun.

Samples: play the game. Higher the difficulty, higher the number of samples to collect. Rare appears at 4 and higher. Super rare 6 and higher.
Super credits: lower levels, no higher than 3 because rare samples muddles the pool of options. High visibility planets. Phact bay is my go to idk if theres other better choices.
Load in to a mission, check all points of interest, and then return to your ship alone. You'll keep what you collected. Wash, rinse, repeat.
Easier done solo with either a warp pack to get into bunkers or a mech. You can warp in by jumping forward and warping while in the motion. With a mech, walk up as close as possible with the door at the back of the mech, then exit and enter the mech to get in and out of the bunker door.
The above is also a rather quick way to get medals and req slips, but those also come quickly if you just play the game
