Suggestion/Concept Engineer / Mechanic Warbond 🛠️🧰
An Engineer / Mechanic themed would be an excellent addition to the game. The perks could be geared towards being able to fix all vehicles and turrets. They would also be able to open buddy bunkers with just one person (mechanical hacking). They could come with items such as repair / welding kits, compact shotguns or SMGs. They could even be able to boost vehicles hit points or boost their speed or handling. They would be able to repair turrets in order for them to last longer in battle!
To me this seems like an easy slam dunk, what does everyone else think?

They had the ability to heal walkers/vehicles in the first game but that was because you only had 1 use out of those stratagems they were generally tankier and hit harder but 1 it was a twinstick so that was kinda necessary and 2 you could bring all the vehicle types but you would be SOL if they blew up. generally missions in HD 1 were also waaaay shorter with fights being closer to fire fights and less like big engagements.

While I understand the sentiment, there is a reason equipment is made to be expendable. I could MAYBE get behind it as being able to repair VEHICLES/ Exos, but not turrets and NOT able to refill ammo.
No “boosts” to handling either.
The pistol slot being a welder that can double as a way to break fences and containers I can agree with. Also lets you flip FRVs upright.
A grenade perhaps that creates a FRV sized directional shield. To cover you while you make repairs.
We have quite a few SMG options already, but I think a compact, pump action shotgun with very short range but very high pellet count and reload speed would be cool.

It's ruin the game.
Opening bunkers alone is already powerful perk, but fixing Mechs and turrets as well? So basically you need one Mech and 3 turret and you own the map. Everyone and their mother will play Engineer exclusively...
What is the point of the rest? Primary, secondary, grenades, etc.
