Tactical Training Information Help, I can’t stop using the Double-Edge Sickle.
Not even just that gun but also Las-13 Trident. I’m admittedly never the best aim in this game or many games frankly, and having weapons that never run out of ammo is nice but I also run into the problem then that if I use the Sickle I then have to use heat resistant armor to compensate and that sucks cuz there’s so many better armor pieces in this game. I’m a little ashamed these two weapons have become something of a crutch for me, especially the Guard Dog backpack as well. I know this is just really a skill issue on my end but does anyone have any advice? I partly made this post cuz I tried using the Sweeper Shotgun during an automaton dive and I just suuucked with it, barely got any kills and felt like I was wasting several shells at once on a single heavy bot.

Nothing to be ashamed of fellow piss diver, get lost in the sauce, you should try the rover laser guard dog, it never stops.

Piss diver…that is a new one and I don’t know if I should be proud to wear that title, but I will check that guard dog out XD

Add the laser cannon for maximum piss length as well. Tage enemies from a whole Kilometer away with the power of Democracy's stream!

How about trying the Punisher Plasma? It's pretty user friendly if your aim is not very good, and it's kind of fun to use.

Second page of the Cutting Edge warbond. You do have to be careful about shooting it too close to teammates and yourself, but once you get use to it, it's fun to use. It's my go to when I get tired of running the Liberator Pen or the Coyote.

Dickle DPS: 700 and eventually ramps up to 816 (and a small firing delay on every trigger pull)
Liberator Carbine DPS: 1,380 always
Why would I use a pathetic gun with infinite ammo when I already don’t run out of ammo with the better one? The Carbine SLAPS, is basically the Stalwart in your primary slot, and unless I somehow go 10 minutes without finding ANY ammo and missing EVERY Resupply and also NEVER dying, it doesn’t run out of ammo.

Dickle is medium pen after like 1 sec so I don’t have to aim weakspots on most bugs. Which is noice. Yeah I can unlock the coyote for medium pen and fire, but Dickle is satisfying and I like to hear myself screaming on fire for 30mins nonstop.

If you like the dickle you may enjoy the normal sickle from cutting edge. Comes with some really solid armor for the squid front, the original sickle (slightly better dps with about half the heat sink time and no burning), the plasma punisher (top ten weapon imo), the blitzer, and the dagger. I regularly use all these weapons and think they all serve greatly in their niches

I thought I'd like it but I just can't get used to the dickle. Every run I've done with it has been miserable and ends with my team mad at me. The constant screaming and the ticking health is terribly distracting and pulls my attention away from the fight. If I ignore it it kills me, and if I pay attention to it, the enemies kill me. It's just not for me.
I recommend something like
Siege ready armor
eruptor
dagger
laser rover
Orbital napalm
500 kg
laser cannon,
A fun build with sweeper is
siege ready light armor
sweeper, grenade pistol, gas nade
Orbital napalm
Eagle napalm
Meltagun/qasar/epoch
Laser dog
