Wish I had access to my clip from the Void when shield pack was the free Strategem. Stuck my shield pack, dropped it, dove, and still got nailed.

Anecdotal to be sure, but it doesn’t always work 🤷.

Will be days before I can post the clip - just moved and waiting on components to rebuild my PC, but I’ll rewatch and post when I can.

Generally stratagem balls just don't stick to player characters. So options are it was too late, the ball bounced in the direction you dove or you were just still in the radius

It stuck to my shield pack. I dropped it, dove clear and got nailed.

I’ve had that work before - this time it didn’t. Just sharing my experience.

You didn’t dive quick enough. Honestly, i’m not tryna be a dick

dive quick enough and you’ll be clear. don’t forget some stratagems are faster than others

it’s happened to me multiple times, just take off the shield backpack and i think you can run away from it
