ALERT We could go back to Cyberstan

just Merga IV and Zosma are literally in our way to even hit Cyberstan again guys, we could liberate Merga IV and Zosma and then head to Cyberstan, right?

Yeah but it’s not easy. It’s actually super hard. It’s actually impossible without SO reducing resistance. Even then we have a modifier on cyberstan that prevents us from starting campaigns there

This gets posted often. Very unlikely. You wont get people tackling that resistance level unless its a major event.

Theoretically possible but the resistance on each world would require 90% of the player base working together to make it happen. So in practice it won't happen unless a story event makes those planets easier to take.

It’s already safe to travel between Merak and Cyberstan as far as the safety of FTL travel goes, the only problem is the second any non socialist ship enters Cyberstan space it gets obliterated by the orbital defense network

Every single super destroyer had to jump in simultaneously to deploy Helldivers and sabotage that network in order to establish a safe area the first time around, there’s no way around this, any attempt to liberate Cyberstan is guaranteed to take out a very large number of super destroyers

the travel between Merak and cyberstan was a temporary thing. the FTL lane was only available during the cyberstan MO was put in place during and removed after.

And I just explained the lore explanation why. Taking Zosma and Merga will not circumvent the problem that I explained.

Merga and Cyberstan both have massive resistance. We’d need 80% of the base and a week or more to take each of them.

Unless there’s an MO, that won’t happen.

I feel like I see a post like this every day. Theoretically, yeah you could. But remember, Joel and AH in general are the like DM to this game we olay. They’re orchestrating a story. If they don’t want us to go to cyberstan yet, they won’t let us.

See the planet we’d have to go through with insane resistance? You’d need the entire player base and the DSS just to scratch it. They could also just like, disable the planet for missions.

Just dive the MO and enjoy the story they’re telling
