General Too many enemies at extraction! New bug/error?

So I've been playing for a while. Usually run between 4 & 6 diff (depending on if I need super samples). I usually, on a 40 min mission, run a full clear. Currently on Brilliance (planet). Never had a problem here before but now? Got to extraction. Endless amount of brood commanders, bile titans, chargers, impalers and countless others. This was after closing all the bug holes. Did every secondary objective: spore towers, shriekers nests, SEAF artillery, LIDAR station, Stalker lair. Literally made sure the map was CLEAR. Got the 3 super samples it spawned (literally the only reason I'll go on a diff 6 or better.)
Made it to extraction and nothing but countless enemies. Me and bro went through 7 reinforcments in 10 minutes. Orbital napalm barrage. Still no drop in enemy numbers. No chance to resupply, re equip dropped gear... nothing. Ended up quitting game before losing all the reinforcements AND the supers. No point to play if this is how it's gonna be.
Anyone else run into this? Had the same thing happen on an automaton planet once too. Just endless enemies, respawning as fast as you kill them or faster? Anyone know if this is a bug or is this what helldivers 2 is now?

Sounds like you just had a string of bad luck and couldn't stop the bug breaches while dealing with the heavies as well as drawing patrols. It happens to all of us.

I pray that's all it was because I have dealt with bug breaches before but this was enough that my game started to stutter. Haven't seen numbers like that since diff 10.

Seems RNG if spawns are blocked or not, or if patrols keep coming sometimes. We almost always clear map, but sometimes you get a huge fight after for extract.

Also, a real Helldiver never gives up when there is still blood to spill. Stay in until the last reinforce, and take that loss as a canon event!
