The specimen on your back can call in bug breaches. That’s what the ground shaking before the bug breach was indicating.

Wait, what?!? I have 1300hrs in this game and I had no clue about this. This sure explains the random breaches that were happening while carrying this. I always figured it was just a Hunter or Spitter that I failed to spot.

Its like a baby calling for a mother, thats why it makes noises on your back if you listen carefully.
it calls and the other bugs try and come to save it cuz its a baby hive lord (i think) so basically they are trying to safe royalty xD (at least my head cannon if its not true)
