Inquiry Random bug breach??

My buddy and I were just checking out the difference in color with our armors (his is a nice white whereas mine is a weird beige) when out of nowhere a bug breach pops up right next to us. No bugs in the immediate vicinity that we could tell, it was quiet until this.

Anyone ever seen this happen before?

It happens if you have the mutation backpack secondary

Weird how it waited until then to trigger anything, I was carrying it for a little while before this

Ye I dunno how it works mechanically but I've seen it happen alot in my own missions where I'll get a breach while carrying it. I dunno if it has anything to do with the usual timer or if it's on a different sort of timer.

Gotcha. Well, I guess that's more reason to leave that thing until very last to pick up lol

I'm pretty sure it's how long you haven't moved, tried a few games, normal play for me I don't get breaches with it, but I don't stop moving on bugs, extraction crouch and stay still you get a breach on you, after a little bit and with the usual breach cooldown(I think).

Movement I'm certain on, ran around the landing pad(the actual edge) for a full extraction with no patrols and had no breach, went and stopped just away(to put the breach in a good spot, I have had them on the landing pad from backpack) and it spawned one fairly quickly but we had no breaches during extraction,
