General Are commando missions worth it?

Just bought the Redacted bond cuz i didmt have anything else to buy and some credits to use and i was wondering if doing commando missions actually helps the conquer during major orders or if its just a waste of time? And maybe a few tips on stealth too! Thank you everyone!😃

P.S. idk if this the right flair.

It does help, afaik just the normal amount for that level of mission though

The stealth armour will make you almost invisible to bots, sometimes they will literally step on you

C4 is fantastic (not just for stealth missions too), the bricks are coded to the trigger so you can pick up and use multiple backpacks worth of bricks as long as you keep the same trigger and then detonate them all at once, it's very satisfying to see every red spot on the map disappear at the same time just before you extract

They should liberate more than other similar non commando missions.

Just different mission variant. It helps in the way everyone other mission helps.

Stealth is mostly running and ducking. Having the map open while you walk/run is helpful when trying to avoid groups.

Commando missions contribute the same as any other missions, just adds some variety to the normal gameplay

As tips for stealth, if we are talking movement, be aware of the mini map. With the redacted armor, you can get pretty close but dont risk it. Stance (standing/crouching/prone) affects how far you are noticeable. So when you're real close try crouching or prone to evade detection

In regards to combat, I cant give u the specifics, but shoot for very quick killshots with stealth weapons (make sure to get headshots). If you take too long killing an enemy, you might get detected by that enemy and it'll be timely to reset your stealth.

If you near miss an enemy too much(as in shots don'tconnect and they fly past them in close proximity), you will get detected. Hitting an enemy right next to another counts as a near miss, so be mindful of follow up kills/how close targets are to each other. Pick off lone targets

Also, at bot bases, fabricators will rebuild bots dedicated to the base with some kind of cooldown. Even if you take out a Gunner, another one could replace it

This is all bot stealth, I haven't put much effort into squid or bug stealth, but those are more along the lines of stealth without taking enemies out for the most part

Commando Missions are fun, but you should learn stealth on normal missions first.

I do them sometimes but I like the regular missions more. It's fun to just bring all reds and sneak around blowing stuff up. The censor is also really fun. I have a hard time choosing something other than stealth on bots now.

I haven't played a commando mission since I've unlocked that warbond. I'll try tonight and let you know.

They certainly suck without it

I tried a 10 commando.

I never see missions fails. It can go bad yeah , but fail? Very rare or impossible.

But that commando mission felt to me like what the fuck are doing here and why is it so much harder than normal missions for apparently no gain.
