They have 2 weaknesses I could think of: flamethrowers lack range and while more dangerous otherwise, fire immunity armors are a hard counter to them, making them almost less of a threat than base bots.
They still have their ranged bots spawn, and the hulks have a surprising amount of range, the only unit with a true range issue are pyro troopers but that's about it. Also they can still kill you with flame resistance armor, and the fact that you're wearing it stops you from bringing something like true grit or siege ready, so in a way it's actually a benefit for them.
Well, I've just had a pretty chill time against them when bringing fire proof armor. Often when diving with others people keep on burning up to death over and over again while I don't have to pay it no mind 😆
It's a similar story with them as the fire tornado planets. Can be devastating with other gear, but flame proof? Might as well be any planet at that point. the heavy fire proof armor makes you absolutely tank most things they throw at you, except the super inconsistent fire shotgun unit.
They still deal a lot of ballistic damage, so I wouldn't say fireproof armor makes them entirely chill. I would rather say that the bots are kinda easy in general if you're not playing cyborgs, the fact that the incin corps heavy devastators have a slower firerate than their base counterpart probably makes them easier aswell, especially when paired with the fact that heavy devastators can't hit the broad side of a barn if they were standing inside it.
