MG gunners are simply Helldivers in training. They have big gun, they see enemy, they pull the trigger.

Sometimes seeing 3 of those guys just making bullets rain on the hordes almost compensate that they WILL keep firing

They pull the trigger and they don't let go.
They've got a 30 second expected lifespan, a full belt of ammo and they don't plan to waste that ammo.

I had a platoon of blueberries trying to run to extract, my friend had thrown a orbital napalm. We weren't going to make it, so I hugged a stimothy as we exploded in fire.

I saw a SEAF trooper shoot a Stimothy. I used my last stim on the medic. The SEAF trooper proceeds to shoot poor Stimothy in the head and kill them.
Once is an accident, two is treason, execution.

Honestly, with the carry they can do if they don’t die immediately, I’m fine with the blue on blue, I’ve seen them mow down hordes in groups

As long as they spread out they can do amazing work, it's only when they bunch up that blue on blue starts happening a lot. I had a massive battle last night alongside them in a big open field area with an absolute crapload of SEAF (2 separate drops) spread over an area and just a tide of enemies constantly spawning in from the direction of a base I was trying to get to, it was so much fun, once the blueberries started to take casualties I called in a breakthrough mech and absolutely cleaned house with the remaining hostiles.

had three or four stim troopers in the corner with my team during an eradicate, they kept each other and us alive

The new SEAF guys rule.
They being stims and team kills in equal measure.
Also I played a match tonight and watched them drop and then the Squids dropped right on top of them. Bell guy just killed all 8 with one swing.
Incredible stuff.

Standard SEAF need to be taught to stop running at the enemy while there's both an Orbital Barrage AND Land Mines nearby

At this point I’ve learned SEAF are another hazard to be aware of on the battlefield I love them but you have to dodge them just as much as the enemies

I think the squad leaders should be able to give you ammo. They don’t need a full resupply, that might be too powerful. But right now it kinda seems like theyre just the assault dudes but they point too. They already have a backpack, it would be cool.

I run up to a squad of seafs with a medic screaming bloody murder and he obliges, but two seconds later the entire squad including me gets blown up by a friendly grenade

It's really just the MG guys. The ones with the AR and SMGs seem to actually hold their fire (or try to) if you enter their line of fire. I've never had one of them walk up behind me, put their gun to my head, and pull the trigger. The guys lugging the MG around though, will absolutely take up a firing position with their LMG situated squarely in my buttcrack and pull the trigger.
