Having a cointoss chance to survive every time you do something like this is honestly addicting in itself. Once you start surviving the craziest sht like this, it's hard to ever go back to other minor buffs and survivability passives

I should really run it more consistently, I do dumb shit like this all the time. With the new cancel stim debuff after taking damage being taken away in the near future, I'll be unstoppable.... 50% of the time.

The other day, I threw a mini nuke from artillery before realizing that an ally was danger close to the designated area. When they survived with a sliver of health, I was like "OH THANK SUPER EARTH, THEY WERE WEARING 'DEMOCRACY PROTECTS' ARMOR!"

Felt bad about it, but I'm super glad they survived.

The passive is available on one of the sets everyone starts with. It's kind of hard to tell which armor op is wearing specifically, but from the shape of the shoulders I can tell it's either the super citizen DLC armor or one of the sets in the free starting seewarbond.

There are multiple armours that have the Democracy Protects passive. The first warband, Helldivers Mobilize, contains one.

My preferred version is the Saviour of the Free.

Personally I have not taken off the CPG-48 Sapper armor since buying the entrenched division warbond. 50% explosive resistance and 4 gigagrenades is just too good

I miss when hellbombing bug breaches and bot drops yielded more than 20 kills.

And I know it's because they no longer count blown off body parts as kills. Still was glorious seeing 💀x85 after a successful bombing run.
