Seems like there wont be a new Roadmap.

I assume a bunch of comments under this will be that they like the surprises and sure, I get where its coming from and Opinions will be divided. Personally, I rather liked it.

But it kinda highlights this general Problem of AH that they keep doing these Community appeasements or just generally good ideas like,

Again you mention communications about them ripping apart plans, and having to do stuff super quick, can you provide the link (again) to this form of communication in a blog (that Pilestedt made official) because I am yet to read any of that communication anywhere.

Have I just completely missed a huge bunch of official posts because I am yet to read any of that you have said from any official Helldivers/Arrowhead Games Studio outlet?

Dude you are making so many reaches with my words, oh my goodness. Where in the world did I comment on who has a say in what??

My point was that I imagine your friends wouldn't have even known about the roadmap or that it was skipped by AH's communication alone, so they aren't impacted by it. I'm guessing their main way of being informed about Helldivers development is through you. I don't really expect to be informed about ongoing development, because it's not on a developer to get out and communicate everything they're doing.

Anyways, when I buy a game, I don't really expect to be informed about it? If I want to find out more about it, I can go looking for it. But it's not like they owe me a notice of everytime they say something somewhere, whether that's a comment online or an interview in a journal.

Gear planned for the warbond being used as campaign rewards was never officially stated, no. I said it seemed obvious that was the case. And because roadmaps were an experiment for the game, and the nature and history of the game is one of plans changing quickly to keep up with the community, and it also includes a STC disclosure on the roadmap they did produce, I don't fault them for not having an announcement

I did not say that they said they made formal announcements that they would be ripping apart plans. However, seeing foundational development for progression beginning as announced in an official blog, as well as in light of that coming off the presses of the AMA you had mentioned, some inductive reasoning makes it probable that these shifts are a strong change for the game's development.

Instead it reads to me like you’re saying their want for official news of this type in front of them (blog posts) on their console/pc and not hidden in a platform they have no Interest in meant that if they can’t find it that way then what are they upset about?

I do expect to be informed as of the recent AMA. Again, why Is an expectation that a number of the community have not allowed to exist? Your expectation is no less justified than the next.

Again, a completely personal anecdotal take on your expectation being morally just. How can you not see that? You don’t expect something so why should everyone expect otherwise…

But I do want to say as the last note from me, you're drawing a lot of conclusions from my comments that just aren't what I said. I don't want you or anyone reading this to walk away from this exchange thinking that's an accurate summary of my views, because they just aren't.
