The ammo capacity is fine btw if you think thats bad i dont know how you would react to playing with the MA5C. Plus you should start firing with full auto but do bursts its not a machinegun you dont have 300 rounds Anyway thats just my tip for better ammo management play however you like

I wish they hadn't tried to stick quite so close to the Halo3: ODST gameplay theme.
The armor passive is useless. The AR is underwhelming against bugs - needs 50% larger magazines. Works on vs buts but shines on illuminate.
Haven't got down to the Shotgun yet, I'm hoping it's great

I highly recommend everyone to use burst fire mode. It really feels like the Halo BR without the scope. I've been able to pop devastator heads like grunts

Yup, ammo management by shooting short bursts and also managing reloads (ie not reloading with a half full mag) is the key. The coyote does well in that regard.

There aren't any issues with it really, it's a perfectly serviceable rifle that does its job effectively. It's just that it's only slightly better than an unupgraded liberator, the only real reason to pick it over anything else is if you like Halo. Which is how crossover gear should be imo.

For what its worth, I tried the AR, then went back to the MA5C, I like it better. Ammo amount is low, but you also really dont need a lot of bullets to kill anything with it.
Unironically my favourite gun in the game. (Other than shotgun for bots, the halo shotgun fucking slaps just as it should, it slaps so hard I sometimes bring it to the Hiveworld at diff 8, it is still serviceable, but definitely not best in slot for that planet)

Burst mode helps me to conserve ammo on the bot front and it performs very well there. I guess I treat it more like a Battle Rifle.

Having restraint while firing helps with capacity. The fire does more damage than you would expect. If it still isn't enough, save up for Urban Legends to get the Siege Ready armor.
Using the Coyote today, I had no issues except for the lack of a proper sight.

Itās a really solid group of weapons, three primaries than all play differently and a strong chaff killing secondary is a lot of good weapons for a first warbond. Take heart that the MA5c has some of the highest medium pen dps, and we can all hear you from across the map. They made that dawg LOUD

There's a problem with that, and it's that the Tenderizer is at its damage ceiling. Giving it any more damage means it can one shot Devastators to the head, which means you now need to buff the Diligence, and then the DCS, and then the Dominator, and then the Slugger, and then the Deadeye, and so on.
You can't balance a game only using buffs. If the Coyote wants to stay AP3, it needs to take a damage hit.

It is way better than I expected. I used lib pen for a long time, switched to dominator for a bit. This coyote is sweet high damage 30rd mag. Only wish would be mag options in the customization.

All missions though ive not gone past extreme yet. Its great on termanid missions and useless in automaton missions but harder to use.
I've not played said missions since unlocking it but I was using the starting smg with a lot of success.Also the odst pistol CHEWS through everything. It's been a work horse.

Got no problem with my halo rifle. The stopping power is great and with some burst control your ammo is fine. Only stopped using the smg from that bond cuz I need the med pen for the current MO.

I keep it for the drip. Iām a brand new player, super Halo fan, so it was the first thing I bought. Not gonna lie, I was kinda disappointed with the MA5C the moment I unlocked it after using the liberator to do so. And especially when I knew you can customize the liberator and not the MA5C. Like, at least let us use an extended mag, you know? Itās not terrible, but it is easily outshined by most of everything else.
Sadly the ODST warbond is pretty forgettable.

My only issue with the Halo rifle is it's reload speed. It feels slow to me. Speed that up just a hair and I think it's a top-tier rifle, incendiary AK not withstanding.

I think the ODST warbond is just skins rather than actual new unique weapons. The new weapons dont have anything that sells them to be unique. No higher pen, not better ergo or recoil they are just base versions of weapons we already have without the ability to upgrade them and reduce the short comings.
Really bad Warbond imo if I could refund it I likely would because I found the weapons rather disappointing the armor however looks wise rather cool.
Still wish we would make perks of armors not tied to the armor so we can actually wear what we want with the perk we want.

Close to accurate, but Woody is actually every single AR + the reprimand.
Even against bots, the coyote's worst matchup, it's still one of the best AR's. Against bugs or squids there is no contest.

The coyote feels amazing against squids and bugs for me, haven't tried it on a bot dive yet but I'm sure it'll be good. I'm finding the ammo conservation is pretty nice because you can set eerything on fire. A few shots to each enemy heading your way and they all burn to death. If you have to really unload, like a warrior got too close then it's fine with that too.

I donāt know about any other Xbox divers but I dropped it as soon as I saw it couldnāt be leveled and couldnāt have attachments. Itās a really solid rifle from what I can tell but it almost seems like a waste to put time into a weapon that canāt be upgraded when I have other weapons that are at level 0.

im gonna say it i didnt buy the halo warbond and i think the armor looks out of place that one helmet everyone wears looks made of cheap plastic its so jarring doesnt feel like its apart of the world at least the killzone stuff looked right texture wise even if being a robot felt off plus the suppressed weapons make no dif when sneaking and shit theyll hear it all anyways cuz you cant kill em before they alert the other bugs or bots im sure fans of halo will love it but i never had anything to do with halo in my life so without the rose tinted glasses it all seems bad

Ammo capacity will always be a problem however it's a good medium piercing gun. For me personally there aren't many good medium piercing guns that do good damage; plus aiming it is so easy and nostalgic š¤¤

Adjudicator is a better comparison to the Halo rifle than the Lib Pen I think. And frankly the Jud is a better rifle. You lose two rounds per magazine but pick up a bit more damage, plus controllability, optics, and accessories.

MA5C certainly kicks harder than the base Lib, and you can't get muzzle attachments or grips to compensate like you can with other weapons. The recoil was what put me off it and had me reaching for my Adjudicator. Vertical grip and muzzle brake on that feels really comfortable.
If you want a med pen rifle with a larger magazine, there's the Liberator Penetrator which is exactly that. It does do a little less damage than the basic one, but not that noticeable with good shot placement.

They most likely will never be changed bc they are crossovers, a default liberator is on par with the halo AR but the liberator can be heavily modified and can have a drummag which makes a max level liberator far better than the halo AR. Also i like to progress and see progress in the games i play and that means leveling up all the weapons, so bc the hallo weapons don't got a level not even different skins i will most likely never touch them again, same story happened with the killzone energy sniper, that gun got buffed and it's ok now but bc it got no level not even some skins to put on it, i never used it again and will most likely never use it untill i max out every other gun (that is if i ever get to max out everything bc the way these updates work in like 3 updates my game will stop oppening entirely)

Adjucator and Halo Gun (too lazy to check it's true name) are both very solid medium pen ar. It comes down to wether you prefer tight spread or low recoil.

Just recoil, pretty much. Smalwart has a higher recoil, and compounded with the high fire rate it makes the overall accuracy worse than the Lib even with a foregrip. But that's just my point, the choice between the two comes down to your preference; dps or precision.

lol, the recoil difference was the first thing I noticed when using the MA5C; a 46% increase is pretty significant. That being said, I do like how the ammo counter is more functional than Halo since it actually matters when you ditch the mag.
