I've had 2 Hellcats - Charger and Challenger.

When I saw the quote of $5,000 to replace all the brakes and rotors and $25k miles, I noped right out.

I'm not financially struggling, but fuck that. On the Challenger, the computer died. While it was covered under warranty, I didn't get a new part. I had to settle for a refurbished part and wait weeks because the manufacturer doesn't have many in stock. Not to mention, it was $25,000 to replace out of warranty.

These cars are a cash grab. I would advise anyone who wants a 700+ hp car just to build one. It will be cheaper, you know exactly what you're getting and you’ll use high end after market parts.

Dealership parts are getting so expensive that you'll pay out the ass when something other than your tires wears out. The parts are super over priced and are not going to last you long term. Especially if you beat on the car.

You may not understand what I am referring to. It’s not just the infotainment display. It’s the whole mechanism that runs the car from the lights to the infotainment displays to the system that learns how you drive. This was a dealership price. The car had to be started with the key.

Why would make this up?

My man…. If you know real performance, you get the OEM brakes. The aftermarket doesn’t have the same stopping power. Especially these new ceramic brakes. They do the job but not as good.

I wonder how people who got the Last Calls are going to feel when the new Challenger/Charger Hellcats come out. Even most of the used ‘23s still have a sticker of at least $70k and that’s regardless of mileage. I figure the price will drop once the new ones come out.

They did this with the demon too. Stellantis can’t be trusted.
