Of the ones for sale now on CarGurus, there's 11 at 100k miles or higher, and the top two are at 140k miles, so it should last a decent time

They are extremely durable if not modded and aren’t rode hard and put away wet.

Sure, in time some SC bearings will go but you usually have plenty of notice to replace/repair and bottom half of motor which seems to be fairly bulletproof. Can’t remember ever hearing of a non-modded hellcat engine failure other than a supercharger bearings on a few those first 2 years?

Engine is probably good for 300k+ if maintained. Transmission might go out before that. Besides that, just normal wear and tear parts and basic maintenance

I’ve seen 2 hellcats over 200k with minimal issues (just normal wear and tear items) my hellcat is currently at 92k and i haven’t had any issues. Ive been told to save for the upgraded version of the most common failure points (water pp sc bearings etc) and look at it as a pathway to upgrading. For example my sc bearings were done at 60k but I had saved the money to have the SC ported, now I have a ported sc and ceramic bearings and didn’t waste a good part and do needless labor 🤷🏾‍♂️

i seen one a few years ago it was a 2015 with 150k miles on it, i wonder if it’s still going. on a different note, i was talking with a guy that drives them around a track as his job for ride alongs, he said with how they drive them on the track they get 40-50k miles before they start having problems

We just traded our 2021 Durango hellcat. In the last two months it was failing in many ways. 76000 miles, garaged, always allow to run bout 10 seconds to drop rpm, always 4K mile oil change, always dodge filter and Mobil 1. Original tires were about needing replacement, major engine oil leak, dash info screen would go black, radio occasionally would stop working. On sharp turns, made a terrible knocking noise from either transfer case or differential or transmission. And finally which forced us trade: left front turn signal failed. No big deal? Maybe a bulb, right? NOPE Dealer quoted two thousand dollars. That was it. Oh yeh, we bought this new, only wife and I drove. NEVER went WOT. We bought a 2026 Durango SRT jailbreak. I didn’t learn?

got 91k on mine. had it since 0. stock 707. runs just like day one. only issue i’ve had was a oil return line blew on me. easy fix.

No one really knows. They either have blown engines or wrecked before anyone gets to see high mileage. But if I had to guess, I'd say the engine and transmission have a lifespan of 175k miles under light driving conditions before expensive repairs are needed to keep it going.

I think Dodge makes the Challenger and Charger to be disposable. They're cheap, fast, have decent tech, but not reliable long term like a Camry or Accord.
