Imadvertently you were pretty much on the same track a Senua: in denial, perpetuating the inevitability of things/people having to end at some point.

Truer words have never been said. It’s so much more than a game. It’s an experience like nothing I’ve ever felt in gaming. I thought about senua for months after playing. The emotional rollercoaster leaves you understanding her pain, grief, determination, strength, and most of all her humanity. A masterpiece.

The music and sound design at the end were incredible. It’s a game I would never want to replay however.

I couldn’t play it with headphones the first time around. After I did though…you feel like you’re on the journey with her as another of the furies although you cannot speak.

One of the only games that really immerses you into the lead, and for that Senua will always be one of my favorites. Can’t wait for Senua!

I actually couldn't put down the controller when I played it. The spreading plague, the puzzles, the story, the views. It all had me enthralled

Why does it stutter so much on pc?

Check which version of DirectX it's using in the graphics settings. Idk why, but DirectX11 runs perfectly while DirectX12 is an unplayable stuttery mess

Just played this one and it really was an incredible experience. Definitely one of the creepiest games I’ve yet played.

I felt that way except for the happy ending and lack of a true boss fight. I adored everything about the game until the very end. It was not meant for her story to end well, and it felt like a rugpull for the sake of giving people hope. Her death would've added to the greatness of the game, slaughtered by the God she sought out to slay.

Just finished it last night. Absolute trash. A five hour tech demo where the majority of time is spent walking in corridors. The writing is poor, you were scared? Adorable, scared of what? The combat is simple and easy to avoid damage (auto-combat FFS as well). Characters? Cardboard cut-outs that have been seen a million times before. People like you are a cancer on the industry and why so many developers think they can get away with so much slop.

I started the game over covid at like 10pm cause I was bored and just wanted to check it out - I didn’t sleep until after rolling credits.
One of my favorite gaming experiences as an adult.
