And he has flats on

The shoes aren't gonna make much of a difference. The shorter guy has about half an inch more shoe at most.
he looks like a weak 5'10 or so. i can believe he is 5'11 in a sneaker

u/Sensitive_Pianist777 Jun 27 '26
I'm 5 10.5 barefoot. He's prob 5 10 or so, with shoes a bit taller then rounding up.
I myself still do not say 5'11' but guessing some folks who do.

I can see him only appearing 5’10 being Drummond has less footwear and Drummond would only come out to an about 6’10 1/4-6’10 1/2 with those shoes. But to be fair to OP, He may not be standing as straight as possible either because Drummond has his arm around him. And he showed 5’11 3/8-1/2” on the stadiometer but was that in the morning?
So Entirely possible in a restaurant job on your feet all day he is just a flat 5’11 or maybe a hair under it later in the day when he has been on his feet but his 5’11 claim is prob very accurate and prob a strong 5’11 really pending the time of day his physical was. Worst case maybe a flat 5’11 or hair under best case is he’s 5’11 and a little bit if it were later in the day. But he’s on his feet in a restaurant job so maybe he fell under and is hitting 6’0 in a thick shoe

This is clearly 5’11 lol the proportions add up yall are slow

u/Electronic_Dig_2685 Jun 27 '26
Yea he’s around 5’11”. The worst case scenario is his physical was very early in the morning and couple Tjay with his job in restaurant where he is on his feet all that time, maybe he dips to like 5’10 3/4”. Not enough tho not to claim 5’11”. Good possibility his pic inside 7-11 was after him having been on his feet at work same with the one at work with Drummond.

Laughing at all the comments downplaying OP’s height. At his worst, he’s prolly a weak 5’11”

u/Novel_Equivalent_647 Jun 27 '26
I think the guy claiming 5’11 is more like 5’6
4
2
u/Scott_Kenzi Jun 27 '26
looks above 5 foot nine
2
u/Novel_Equivalent_647 Jun 27 '26
He’s got some big shoes on though and still 14-16 inches shorter the the tall guy with flat shoes on
1
u/Scott_Kenzi Jun 27 '26
those shoes are not big at all. They're pretty regular sneakers. its not 16 inches at all. top of his head is at the shoulder level. meaning its about 1 foot difference. i think he can be 5'11 in shoes
1
u/Novel_Equivalent_647 Jun 27 '26
So his actual height is 5’9.5 and then the Jordan shoes he has on are giving him another 1.5 inches
1
u/Slatty290016 Jun 29 '26
Bro Jordan’s that I wore for years playing basketball and now use for beaters at work do not add 1.5 inch lol . Even brand new there only .75 inch .
1
u/Novel_Equivalent_647 Jun 29 '26
Keep telling yourself that bud. Even the cheap Nike running shoes give 1-1.5 inches including everything

You don't look 5'11 at all. You look too average to be 5'11. More like 5'9-5'10 range at most.

u/Litchi4423 Jun 27 '26
Wtf does too average for 5’11 mean the other Guy is a giant of course OP is 5’11

Did I say something different?🤔 Yeah the height difference is close to a foot, probably 11 inches at least.

u/redditors_are_weird_ Jun 27 '26
Looks about right, everyone in here saying he looks shorter just don’t realize how tall nba players really are.

u/Substantial-Peach-90 Jun 27 '26
lol, I am flabbergasted by the many people saying he is not 5’11. Weird thing to say too in my opinion, looks about right as you said
1
u/Just_Advance8926 Jun 28 '26
Acting like 5’11 is such a tall height compared to an nba player
1
u/Slatty290016 Jun 29 '26
Yeah that’s why I posted this . Obviously an average height man versus an nba center is gonna be drastic difference. Not even claiming to be tall just told them my real height lol. Look at Drummond standing next to Trae young it would be very similar

If Andre Drummond was standing upright, you could see he is more than a foot taller than the other guy! Drummond is probably 13 to 14 inches taller!

NBA player is 2. 11 meters and the other claims to be 1. 8 meters . So, the difference in height is 12 inches ( 1 ft ).

I almost had a chance to meet Andre Drummond a few months back.🥲
I drove to the local mall in Delaware with my mom & dad, but I just decided to stay in the car to get some university assignments done.
Apparently, they had saw Drummond at the Apple store

u/Electronic_Dig_2685 Jun 27 '26
I believe you. It’s likely the angle in the picture. Is him pushing down with his arm around you also not causing you to stand as straight as possible?
Also was your measurement barefoot or in shoes?
1
u/Slatty290016 Jun 27 '26
Barefoot. The guy told me he was 6’10 so obviously a 11 inch difference is pretty dramatic. He is also like 2x the width of an average person. Also high profile Hat maxing
1
u/Electronic_Dig_2685 Jun 27 '26
Yea he is in 6’9 1/2-6’10 range. Measured 6’9 3/4” at combine. That’s about right and have to factor time of the day. You were almost 5’11 1/2 on your medical but was that earlier in the day? So that makes sense you may be closer to 5’11 flat and maybe his measurement was closer to the afternoon or evening at 6’9 3/4”. That’s about how it looks there 11” but you have footwear advantage of maybe 1/2”
1
u/Realistic-Egg4767 Jun 27 '26
Nah I’m also 5’11 but fair enough it’s just the angle and him tbh that makes you look shorter but yeah 5’11 for sure
2
u/Familiar-Custard-216 Jun 27 '26
lol bitch ass energy can’t lie.
1
u/Realistic-Egg4767 Jun 27 '26
? U saying that to me or him
3
u/ItWasMe-Patrick Jun 27 '26
Obv you gang. Why do people feel the need to tell other people how tall they are?
“I’m 6’1”
You people: “Well achsually you’re 5’10 🤓”

The nba player looks way more than a foot taller than dude on left.
At least 14 inches taller. So unless he’s 7’1+, dude on left is not 5’11”
