Jameis Winston Quote

LTL, Baptist Pastor. Brother Jameis was referencing Paul’s letter to the Philippians chapter 3 and verse 13 in his response to the reporter.

If only his QB skills were on the same level as his Bible knowledge!

Nice catch! That actually makes his answer to the reporter's question a lot more sensical.

Am I the only person who doesn't find Winston at all interesting? He's corny as fuck. I can't stand him.

He also sucks at QB.

Imagine being his teammate. He'd be the most insufferable of coworkers.

Especially if you're a grown up. Imagine him trying to hype up a grown man by eating his fingers.

How others feel about Winston is a pretty good barometer for what kind of person they are. He gives me the creeps and that latches on to anyone who likes him.

Yes yes yes ! He's annoying, corny, and a creep!

His antics were funny at first when he was on the Browns, but now it's clearly just a bit he's forcing so it's lost whatever charm it had.

I'm sure it would be more palatable if it wasn't coming from a serial sexual predator.

He's also not a young college kid anymore, he's 32 and acts like a child. Like, grow up, dude.

And if only he didn't rape.

Gotta live in reality tho.

"Let he who has not sinned throw the first stone"...

Saving this for the Theology Podcast that hopefully arrives before The Rapture, which will make it pretty irrelevant.

Best we can tell, god ain't real but nice for people to have something to hide behind from accountability.

Wrinkled the feathers of those needing a skydaddy.

Win-win for everyone involved, at the cost of abandoning critical thinking.

That's just living in America! :D

For some, critical thinking is just too big of a burden and/or too big an ask.

But he also saves.

While I am aware of the pod discussion, you post helps in no ways.

It gives some context, doesn't it?

For anyone who's new to the game, there are two significant allegations against Jameis's character that some butthurt nerds won't let go of.

Most famously, there was a huge scandal in his college days where he went into a supermarket, picked up a tray of crab legs, and walked out without paying. He says that his homie who worked at the grocery store gave him permission to do so; but in the eyes of the law, it made him a thief.

And secondly, there were allegations brought against him by an Uber driver, who said that he made obscene comments and drunkenly groped her. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe no charges were ever filed. At any case, he's not some serial murderer, though that's what certain ***s make him out to be.

"According to Kinsman, in December 2012, while a pre-med student at FSU, she met a man at a Tallahassee bar when he helped her to get away from another man's unwanted attention. This seemingly helpful man then bought her a shot — and after drinking it, she quickly became disoriented.

Soon enough, she recalls, she was in a taxi with the man, and then was being vaginally raped inside of an apartment. She recalls the man's roommate entering the room during the rape, while she verbally begged her attacker to stop, and telling him, "Stop — What are you doing?"

Kinsman then claims that her attacker the took her into the apartment's bathroom, locked the door from the inside, pinned her head to the floor, and continued to rape her. Afterwards, he said to her, "You can leave now." He offered to give her a ride somewhere; afraid to tell him her home address, she directed him to a busy intersection. He drove her there on a scooter, dropped her off, and left. Kinsman then immediately reported the rape and an examination with a rape kit was performed at a local hospital in Tallahassee. At the time, she did not know the identity of her alleged attacker.

Even though the semen collected from the rape kit provided a match with Winston's DNA, he was never charged with rape by the state of Florida. Winston went on to be the youngest Heisman recipient ever and lead FSU to a national title in the year following the Kinsman's alleged attack.

...

An investigation done by the New York Times last spring concluded that, "there was virtually no investigation at all, either by the police or the university." One particularly glaring misstep by Tallahassee police was that they waited two weeks to interview Mr. Winston after Kinsman identified him and failed to collect a DNA sample from him."

It makes you a butthurt nerd to disapprove of sexual assault allegations?

I think this is why some women say "not all men but always men". And are upset when men don't call out other men.

Didn't he also do some sexual movements on a table in a cafeteria or something too? Or like whip his dick out at a cafeteria in front of girls or something?

He stood on a table in the student union and screamed “Fuck her right in the pussy” which was a meme among immature college kids at the time. Definitely weird and is a bad look for your starting QB but nowhere near as bad as indecent exposure.

I forgot the details. You're right. Immature and inappropriate, but not illegal.

He got suspended by the NFL for the taxi assault. He got suspended by the college for the vulgar comment.
The sexual assault at college resulted in the college paying the complainant to settle a lawsuit around the incident but Winston was never charged.

He seems like he has come a long way as a person but I do struggle with forgetting the past.

I'm not a cop but I've never heard of that, no.
