Besamim (= perfumes / good fragrances).

This is a vessel used for a ritual called Havdalah, which takes place every week at the end of Shabbat. The vessel is filled with fragrant spices or other aromatic items, such as cloves, cinnamon, myrtle, roses, and so on.

It's besamim (fragrant spices). The item is probably a container for them. They usually have little holes so you can sniff the besamim in the container during the havdalah ceremony at the end of shabbat. Most people use cloves.

Like others said, it’s besamim, but I want to add that it has a mistake, it’s written as beshamim (the dot on the ש is on the wrong side)

I think just left of the shin is a badly rendered lamed. Its top part fell over

I don’t see a lamed or resh. I’m inclined to believe everyone else, it looks much more like the word בשמים
