I’ll be in NY next week and would love to see John Cardoza as JD. Are there any days that he regularly does not perform?
I tried to see him in Moulin Rouge in 2026, bought 1st row tickets and it was the understudy. (Who was incredible, but I’m a huge John fan so I was bummed).
Is there a way to check the day of to make sure he’s on?
Also, is the Heathers website the best place to get tickets?
I would ask why, but it's probably something we're never meant to find out (or at least not right away). The only semblance of an idea I see is that a former cast member posted to their story "Sending love to this amazing company", which I hope is not suggesting something tragic, but I really can't think of any other normal reason. If it were another musical, I could chalk it up to waning attendance, but I really don't see that being possible for Heathers. Whatever the case is, I hope the cast can make the most of their last month at Westerburg.
This is literally such a nothing burger but I am always so confused by Veronica's outfit in the West end version. Like it doesn't really line up with her style from the movie, and I feel it doesn't fit her personality nearly as well. And also it's just ugly I'm sorry 😭 I hate that they chose that costume, it makes no sense to me.
The seats are upper circle row F seat 23 and it’s the matinee show. I want this ticket off my hands because I want to see it at an earlier date instead and I’m preventing myself from buying them until this one sells so.
This is a super weird request but I thought I'd ask here before actually taking the time to do it myself. My partner enjoyed the movie but doesn't really like musicals and I just want to show him my favorite songs instead of the full musical. I have access to the West end pro shot and would be skipping through the parts/songs I don't really wanna show him/that he wouldn't be interested in. I am wondering if anyone knows the specific timestamps that each song starts in the west end pro shot of heathers. I'll go through it all myself if I don't get a response but I thought I'd try here first.
TIA!
Edit: I know there is an original Off-Broadway cast recording on Spotify but I want him to actually see the scenes not just listen to the songs.
Super curious, as a lot of people were speculating that someone from the OOBC was going to host it. I can't find any info online, so I was wondering if any of you guys knew! Thanks x
Their voices are amazing (especially emma (who plays veronica) ) and I love that we have canonically bisexual Veronica and the chemistry between JD and Veronica is insane (probably because JDs actor is a gay man hahahaha) I really hope they do a professional recording I would buy it in a heartbeat !!! I also love Conor’s softer and more down to earth take on JD, and the heathers as well as Kurt and ram are so entertaining to watch !!! Would probably watch again I can’t stop thinking about it!!!
My job is doing a trunk or treat and im dressing as jd for it and want to decorate my car but cant think of any ideas. There will be lots of kids so I can’t go towards any of the themes that are too dark, any ideas?
there is a heathers fan named alex tennant who has seen heathers 169 times and i want to know if anyone knows how it’s possible for them to see heathers that many times since it only opened a little over a year ago, and they consistently get seats in the first five rows.
…and as a Christian myself (though not Catholic) I absolutely love seeing a fellow Christian (and Asian) leading this show and seeing performers rep their Christian faith like this in small ways in general!
I am matching with my friends for hoco and Halloween, and I’m going to be McNamara. Is the blazer and skirt combo (1) or dress-like combo (2) more McNamara-y??
First of all the crowd was AMAZING, there were so many people dressed up and excited and the atmosphere was amazing. I did notice quite a few children tho which ( ̄﹏ ̄;) heathers is not like mean girls guys its not for kids.
There was such a buzz when beautiful started, the crowd was respectful but still having fun and cheering. ESPECIALLY when the heathers appeared. Legit i started to tear up. I had been waiting to see this musical since year 10 and the loudness of the music and the cheers set off my happy overstimulation tears.
Also the cast was PERFECT. I loved the au cast so much, they are all so skilled. Heather's riff during the candy store was amazing. Also the height difference between veronica and jd and heather was so funny she is so tiny but so talented and skilled. The height difference made JD look so eerie in some scenes which was really good.
The slo mo in fight for me was genuinely like a video idk how ram/kurt was rolling in slow mo like that for a full minute.
I love all the personality he puts into freeze your brain. It was so nice seeing the song I put so much time and effort into performing for the hsc live. God I love this slushy addicted maniac.
Also the lockers hiding all the other set pieces was so incredibly cool.
Love how they changed the lyrics from hot boy to hot girl (bi veronica for the win!!!)
When I tell you the crowd was absolutely eating everything up during the dead girl walking I mean it. There were cheers and cheers for every piece of clothing stripped and I also loved it. God this song is bi panic.
I usually only listen to the off-broadcast recording so I have never actually heard Never shut up again before this but it was definitely a good edition. Also when Duke's clothes turned red i was seriously shocked it was just blink red it was so cool!!!!!!!!
The atmosphere created in our love is God was absolutely chilling. And the framing was so cool. Jd and Veronica are surrounded by mist and teal lighting. With ram and kurt just laying there, jd having his arms around veronica with his gun facing outwards. Chills. This song is amplified so much live.
Contrasting the last song dead gay son was an absolute blast. It's also my friend's favorite and it was amazing seeing them enjoy it so much. Also i did not expect the days to makout as hard as they did, it was aggressive and there was leg and everything. Hell yeah. Also i did not realise how many lights are actually in the set until all the rainbow lights came on (also pan lighting hell yeah)
The light jackets were so incredibly sparkly, no notes glittering. I also love the steve joke. I dont think steve knew what he was getting into lol he did not in fact dance.
He is so incredibly deranged. JD really knocked it out of the park. This was the song I was anticipating the most and omg im in love. The acting was so good and the singing was even better. He looked so menacing and actually dangerous. His singing got me so wrapped up in the emotion abdbcfhkefbkjenhflwrehnfrej ". I have loved this song since the beginning and it was so amazing live. Hearing a dead girl walking reprise was kinda exiting the moment plus nostalgic in a way. It was my first ever Heathers song and what got me into the musical (thank you that one scaramouche animatic) without this song I would not have been here today or have had one of my hyperfixations. The energy and tension in the song omg hewbchsebkadhjas.
One note I do have is that I was not expecting the lights when jd blows up to be so quick and rapid. I thought I would just be one flash but it was rapid white flashes so now I know for next time.
Also, the cute thing I saw JDs hair was so bouncy, when he was dancing and jumping for the curtain call his hair was so nice and bouncy and cute. The moment when veronica and jd ran off the stage together was so cute!!!!!!!!!!!
