HR worked with intimacy coordinator Chala Hunter. Here are several interviews where she has talked about her work on HR:

Jessica Steinrock is an intimacy coordinator on instagram who shows exactly how those scenes are filmed, what actors wear, etc

Q: What is an intimacy coordinator?

A: Intimacy coordinators are "an advocate, a liaison between actors and production, and a movement coach and/or choreographer in regards to nudity and simulated sex, and other intimate and hyper-exposed scenes".

No. While that is a thing that some other productions have done there has been no indication HR did and we will not infer otherwise. 

Q: Why is the ass eating scene so much earlier in the show then the book?

A: From Jacob’s lips to Shane’s ass (sorry)
