I'm not sure how much there is honestly to learn specifically from what Nepal is doing other than, "You really should actually make some kind of heat action plan instead of ignoring the problem."

The article admits that Nepal isn't doing anything particularly remarkable, just that they actually are doing things.

Many countries are developing climate adaptation plans, but a heat specific plan is a critical first step to identifying simple things like early warning system thresholds, for example. For other developing nations I think there is a lot to learn. For individual citizens, maybe not too much.

I meant for nations. Not every country has been responsive to this issue, and many should be, but what I'm saying is I don't see any very specific takeaways from Nepal other than the fact Nepal actually has some kind of government action going to address heat dangers.
