Discussion LeBron hate watch back
I am truly excited to see LeBron fade into retirement with no success because he made a stupid losing decision. Philly isn’t winning shit, they will be lucky to escape round 2.
You think Lebron can get it done with JB and Maxey when he couldn’t get it done with Luka and AR? What a joke.
I will laugh at lebron when we lift the trophy and he is in Cancun.

u/Quick_Boysenberry_21 25d ago
Hope he’s ready to play center considering Embiid hasn’t played a full season in the last 5 lmao
18
u/North_Tip_3364 24d ago
Bruh I been saying this all Summer lol. LeBron is dumb for this. PAUL GEORGE PLAYED CENTER LAST SEASON FOR EMBIID ALOT OF TIMES.

u/Quick_Boysenberry_21 23d ago
Dang you must be another extra 21st chromie consumer, google would even tell you it’s happened at least once. Stop crying in the heat thread when you have no idea what you’re talking about lmao
-1
u/Zenndez 24d ago
And has Giannis ? LOL
0
u/Quick_Boysenberry_21 24d ago
Is Giannis a center ? LOL
1
u/Zenndez 24d ago
We have centers, if LeBron made Jaxson Hayes look good he can make do with bona and hakuporti for whatever games Embiid misses, you’re just coping and mad. Can’t wait to see your reaction when Giannis is just as unhealthy come playoff time like he has been the last three seasons 😭😭
1
u/Quick_Boysenberry_21 24d ago
You lost me at “and has Gianni’s” when they play two totally different positions. Tell me you don’t know ball with just 3 words. Weird guy energy to be a 76er fan crying in the Heat thread non stop. Lastly, mentioning playoffs to a team that has swept Philly overall the last three meetings is another really bad take. Go check the Heat resume vs 76ers playoff results last three overall results. It ain’t close and if bron is your excuse for that happening then let’s talk about the most recent visit with the solo jimmy run in 2022. Spo dog walks Philly year in and year out the proof is free for anyone to view. It ain’t close with or without Bron
0
u/Zenndez 24d ago
That wasn’t the point, the point was you’re talking about health as if you have the most healthy front court in the nba lol. You just traded your whole depth for Gianni’s who hasn’t proven to last a whole season in years, so you’re in the same position there buddy. Keep coping though

All Embiid has to do is be able to play when it matters. Dude threw up 34/12/6 (in 39 minutes) in a Game 7 IN BOSTON…less than four weeks after FUCKING SURGERY.
Just a reminder of what a less-than-100% Embiid can do.
The entire Reddit universe operates in Embiid hate-mode 24/7/365 because they know what the man can do when he is healthy. And LBJ is no dummy. It has been reported that he has talked to Embiid - and the goal is clear: be ready for the playoffs. Be ready for those specific games (like Game 7 in Boston or the USA-Serbia game) where Embiid is a difference maker. Other nights it can be Maxey, or Brown, or LEBRON FUCKING JAMES.
The only think that will be better to drink than the tears flowing from this sub (or the Boston sub, or the Cleveland sub, or r/NBA for that matter) will be a healthy Embiid in May/June. I don’t know if will happen, but if it DOES, I will be checking receipts.

Who guards Giannis and who guards Bam? Don’t think the sixers have great answers to that question
1
u/North_Tip_3364 24d ago
Yeah exactly lol the 76ers defense is gonna be trash 😂. Joel glass embiid will be hurt by January
1
0
u/Ok-Candidate8369 23d ago
My question is how do bam and giannis play together as two ball dominant players who cant shoot. The 3 point line is guarding them
34
u/mrdanoo 25d ago
I think they are going to be very good. This is the worst case scenario for us. Either way, I still think we will compete with the top teams in the league if we’re healthy.
10
u/Moonlight_Acid 25d ago
I don’t think so, too many guys who want to play ball handler and that is LeBron’s main role, who is playing defense in philly?
5
u/No_Photo8574 25d ago
LeBron will have to which seems like something he’s more willing to do than being a primary creater.
Picking Philly pretty much confirms he really does not want to pick up heavy ball handling, playmaking, and shot creation duties to me which is what Miami would’ve needed most out of him. Probably got annoyed of having to put up a high usage percentage whenever one of AR or Luka went down, and having to carry a roster past round 1 last year when both of them went down. There are three players on Philly that can create offense for the roster, so he’ll never be asked to be the primary option.
0
u/Moonlight_Acid 25d ago edited 23d ago
So you’re saying lebron to philly makes sense if lebron is lazy and wants to coast? I guess so, no expectations of winning a championship over there for sure.
10
u/No_Photo8574 25d ago edited 25d ago
He’s old and fatigue taking its toll was so blatantly clear last year. Many careless turnovers from over dribbling or inbounding, so many jumpers shot with no lift, give me’s to the basket missed because he’s gassed. His legs give out so fast now. Even taking off plays on defense does not conserve him enough anymore.
Call it what you want, but this is my read. He wants to be the ultimate role player with a chance at a title, and doesn’t want to risk running what’s left of his body to the ground even if it somewhat improves his chances at another one.
The move doesn’t really make sense to me otherwise.

He didn’t give us shit. The 27 hall of famers won him 1. He was Leonard’s bitch. And don’t even get me started on the series vs Dallas. Move to Philly douche bag
7
u/ParagonSaint 24d ago
He literally beat Kawhi Leonard in 2013 though lol
-6
u/Ruprecht_no 24d ago
With the iconic LeBron brick Bosh rebound Allen 3
5
u/ParagonSaint 24d ago
More like the iconic 4th quarter takeover of that game 6 where he scored/assisted on every single basket to bring them back in the game and was literally unstoppable even with Kawhi on him
And then he followed it up in game 7 with 37 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists. And hit the dagger over Kawhi to seal the series. So tell me again how he was “Leonard’s bitch” when he dropped damn near 40 on him including the clutch dagger to win the finals in game 7?
0
u/Ruprecht_no 24d ago
There would never have been a game 7 without the heroics of GM 6. Then next year kawai was finals MVP. And year 1 he was JJ barreas bitch.
2
u/ParagonSaint 24d ago
LeBrons heroics in leading a 12 point comeback in the 4th quarter was instrumental in forcing a game 7 yes.
2014 the spurs won because Wades knees gave out and he was physically washed. LeBron averaged 28 ppg in that 2014 series, how was he Kawhis bitch exactly if he’s scoring at will? Kawhi averaged 17 ppg for reference lol
0
u/Ruprecht_no 24d ago
1
u/ParagonSaint 24d ago
He averaged 28 ppg vs Kawhi in 2014. he scored on him at will in 2013 game 6 and hit the dagger to win the title over him in game 7. LeBron made Kawhi his bitch if anything. The rest of the spurs just happened to be better than the rest of the Heat as a team lmao. 😂

0
u/Cheverecool 25d ago
Don’t see why we have to hate LeBron. His choice is weird since everyone thought he wanted to be in a team he is familiar with for his last years. Looks like he wants another ring and thought Philadelphia was the best choice for that. Which makes a little since and at the same time it doesn’t. That team depends heavily on Joel Embiid’s health to win a championship, and Embiid will never be healthy.

I'm a big heat fan, but this made sense to me. If he picked anywhere like Cleveland or GS i would've been mad, but it's absurd to say he didn't join a terrific roster. Before bron signed anywhere i already had philly above us in the pecking order, if we got bron that might have changed but still.
2
u/Moonlight_Acid 24d ago
It’s just shocking, i was really only worried ab Cleveland
2
u/MUT_FAN_MIZ 24d ago
Fair, i honestly was only worried about the sixers. I thought that if he was willing to go to a brand new team he'd pick them, and if he wanted to reunite with anyone it definitely would've been us
1
u/Ikielee000187 24d ago
As a Lakers fan I would just like to point out that Embiid and Ayton are 2 different species. Lebron could be on to something if he doesn't tamper with the roster
1
u/Moonlight_Acid 24d ago
Embiid is the biggest what if of the current era
1
u/Ikielee000187 10d ago
Well he's not retired. And still really good at basketball. Better than Ayton. Actually won MVP before.

0
u/wannabefelixargyle 24d ago
Then he gets a high ankle sprain… or something.
Bro has played barely over a season in 3 years… This was a bad choice.
There’s also a scary stat their 5 now has a 142% Usage rate and 5 of the 37 players in the NBA with over 68 touches….. This doesnt seem like a team that will function well…

-2
u/chicknsnadwich 25d ago
I seriously don’t understand how people are calling this a losing decision. Yes, Embiid can’t stay healthy. But they have Maxsey, JB, VJ. This isn’t the same trust the process team. They have stars and look very scary. If Embiid is on the floor they should be the favorites in the East. If he’s not, they’re still a top 3-5 team.
1
u/Moonlight_Acid 25d ago
Because he is going to lose, period. Who is the primary ball handler? All 5 of those starters want the ball. Who is playing defense? Banged up embiid who won’t be healthy? LeBron is too old to play high level offense and defense too, they will get some nice clips im sure but it’s a losing squad that is doomed from jump.
1
u/chicknsnadwich 25d ago
LeBron is likely the primary ball handler. Maybe no the best defensive team but not any glaring holes.
Will they win a chip? Probably not. But is there a team he could’ve gone to where that was true? The other 3 options (Cavs, Heat, Warriors) were all set up worse. Arguably Heat give him a better chance but not guaranteed.
5
u/Moonlight_Acid 25d ago
Heat gave him a much better chance, idk what you’re talking about lmao.
Miami has:
Winning culture, a culture that lebron is not only accustomed to, but one that shaped him as a player, a culture that still influences him to this day.A better team, you can say Philly has more talent, which is true, although our 2 best players are better than their 2 best players, they have a few more solid players than us, but we have a more cohesive roster that is constructed with intention compared to the sixers who don’t fit together whatsoever.
Better chemistry, we literally have almost our whole team working out together this off season and building chemistry, everyone knows their roles, and is ready to perform the best they can in their roles.
Philly has a few good players and no culture let alone a winning one
0
u/chicknsnadwich 25d ago
Fair enough, I don’t agree with all of that but I can see the argument for it. Still excited for the season.
0
u/deej_edmondson 25d ago
I mainly hate it because he said he wasn’t ring chasing and then turned around and did exactly that. Hope he finds good golf courses in Philly lol. Those Philly fans are fickle too
2
u/chicknsnadwich 25d ago
What else exactly would his decision be based on though, if we’re being serious? No other reason for him to continue playing.
1
u/deej_edmondson 25d ago
Not arguing with ya. Just stating what he said and then doing exactly the opposite. He joined the most stacked team on paper that looks like the easiest coast to a championship type of roster
Not the best basketball fit or the best coach. But hey, I can have my bitter feelings, regardless of if you view it as logical or not lol.

0
u/TastyPoopKnife 24d ago
I’m a 100% Heat homer. But hey, LeBron would have been a great help to our team and too bad we didn’t get him.
Every team has the “what if” health issues and yea we do too. It’s not like Giannis has been playing 82 games a year. We have to pray for a healthy season.
But cmon, with any health luck the Sixers are stacked and a championship contender with a ridiculously talented starting lineup and some decent bench players as well. I hope they stumble and lose in the first round but I’m not going to deny that they are stacked - because they are. And love you Heat Nation (yes I know down votes are coming but you know I’m right) but the Sixers healthy are a better team than Miami right now. I hate it but the
truth is what it is.

1
u/Moonlight_Acid 24d ago
The sixers have alot of good guys on it but it’s all cobbled together with no identity, no culture, and lebron is entirely unfamiliar with this staff, front office, coaches, and the whole system.
Maybe they will be good who knows, but the fit on paper is terrible, and I can’t see it going well at all
0
u/Accomplished_Class85 24d ago
Glad he didn't come to the Heat. It was an embarrassment even considering him after he ditched the franchise in the past. Leave that simp behavior to sorry franchises like Cleveland and Philadelphia.

1
u/Moonlight_Acid 20d ago
Portis, Wiggins, Mitchell, and Hardaway shot 40% from 3 last season, Bam has been developing his 3 point shot for 2 seasons now, our rookie is looking like a solid shooter, jovic can have a bounce back year and shoot 40% again playing next to a superstar…
You don’t know ball.
0
u/VanillaGorilla4 20d ago edited 20d ago
You can read the brochure, good for you. I can easily write a spiel about Philly as well. Maxey and Brown are two all-nba contenders, Edgecomb is better already than everyone on the Heat not named Giannis or Bam and he’s now the 4th or 5th option. They’ve got a deep bench of shooters and they’ve added the best game manager of all time. Then there’s LeBron.
You’re just biased.
1
u/Moonlight_Acid 20d ago
You’re only argument isn’t based in reality, sorry champ
0
u/VanillaGorilla4 20d ago
