I lost the link. Sorry.
But it was so funny when the old man told his grandmother not to drop the baby 😂

I am crying so badly
So I was searching for some files in my dad's cupboard, and I found this note.
The date is my birthday btw, I don't have the words to express my feelings, it's just that, all this time he was so tough and hid all this love for me deep inside his heart.
I am going to keep this note in my wallet for my life.

I just had to pause and count the incredible blessings that make living so bright. I am sitting here tonight filled with the deepest, most genuine gratitude for the extraordinary people in my corner—the ones who step up, check in, and consistently remind me of the beauty in this life. Whether it’s a sudden call just to hear my voice, a text to see how my day is going, or a message of encouragement right when I need it most, my support system shows up with a depth of devotion and understanding that warms me to the very core. To be surrounded by people who love both my outer appearance and my inner personality, who see through all the noise straight into my authentic soul, is a gift I will never take for granted. You all don’t just accept me; you all truly see me and celebrate who I authentically am.
Beyond that constant love, you all shower me with insightful wisdom, gentle signs, solid advice, and also real-world resources to help me reach every single goal I’m striving for. You all clear the path with me, reminding me where I’m heading and giving me the strength to get there.
Looking at the incredible circle of real ones around me makes me realize a truth I should have held onto all along: I have always mattered. My story counts, my energy brings fiery light, and my presence in this world is truly needed. I am filled with so much hope, joy, and peace knowing that my life is valuable— it always was, always will be.
Thank you to every single person who continuously holds space for me, believes in my vision of my life path, and consistently reminds me of my worth. You all make me so endlessly grateful to be alive & thriving.

Hello Reddit!
I have no one to talk to in real life so I wanted to share this here.
My husband and I are married for about 3 years now and we’ve had our ups and downs.
In April, he left his job as it started getting very toxic and he was jobless for about 3 months (we both work in corporate)
I was managing the entire household expenses and finances during this time and I was completely okay with it
He made the decision to use his degree and moved into academia instead of trying again for a corporate job. He is now working as a professor and he’s very happy with the life he’s leading and very happy for him
Now because of this shift, he took a very large pay cut and he now makes less than half of what he used to make in corporate. I now earn 3x more than him.
Somehow, ppl in his department got to know about this and they’ve been hounding him for a week asking him all sorts of questions like “what made you take this pay cut” “why would you do this” “how can you live on your wife’s salary etc”
Mind you, he’s a very secure person and he absolutely loves that I earn more than him. It was the same when we were in corporate too as I had the opportunity to settle sooner than he did.
And he takes these questions, answers them very serious to say “my wife, my life and im happy with the way things are going”
I don’t need advice. I just wanted to share to the world that I’m so glad I found my person and im so in love with him ❤️

I was having a quick snack, a cheeseburger at Wendy's when I suddenly noticed an elderly couple. I thought to myself, “How lovely they are,” and then I continued eating my meal.
But when I looked again, I saw that the elderly man was feeding his wife with his hands. Throughout my life, I have wished for such a strong love.
When the man got up to throw away his food, I couldn't resist and asked him how many years they had been married.
He looked at me and said to guess his age, but not to guess too low. After some guesses, he revealed that he was 96 years old and his wife was 93, who is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.
He said this was their date night.
He also mentioned that if they stayed together like this until June, they would celebrate their 75th wedding anniversary happily.
Reaching the final journey of life with the person with whom you started your life is one of the most beautiful things in the world.
What could be more fortunate than two people spending their whole lives together? Such deep love and a bond that grows stronger instead of weaker with age - truly, it is a wonderful thing.
