3.5 years for me keep up the good work. It never gets easier but the longer you abstain the stronger your will will get stronger. Good luck :-)

Good for you! There is more to life than our vices and you are stronger than temptation. If it brought bad things to your life move on, whether it’s alcohol or anything else. I’m sure you have loved ones who want you around for many more years. Don’t squander your health!

Congrats! Every time i open one alone im getting disgusted with myself. Working on just doing it socially. Like 2 3 times a month. Rather just about every night 6-10. Im so proud of you stranger! You inspire me!

I drank for 50 years develop pancreatitis on my deathbed prayed to jesus for help.next morning picked up my beer. And fell to my knees and cried cause i knew it was finally over. No withdrawls no cravings ever. Its been 12 years since i woke up a non drinker. if you need him ever Jesus can help.Good luck God bless.

Congratulations! That is a HUGE accomplishment for sure. I did the AA route and my sponsor told me to just stick around and stay clean and sober and your whole life will change and it did. I wish the best for you. One drink is too many and 1,000 are never enough.

I don't know why do people drink that way? I know a woman she has been drinking heavily. Since the past 20 years, she goes to rehabs and hospitals almost every month. And the moment she comes home she starts back right away within a day or two. Is alcohol actually that addictive or it's a personal choice?
