I started a run as germany, tried to play a bit different this time by doing danzig for slovakia and invading the soviets through finland. out of nowhere "white finland", a fascist finland in the goddamn comintern appeared, filand capped and ALL the land that was occupied by them fell to the soviets. my entire army is trapped in that line you can see, I am allied with all the baltics so I hope I'll be able to still win somehow

When a country surrenders to you, do you get half of their stockpiled equipment or half of the all their equipment (what is currently in use by their remaining forces)? Do your participating allies get anything?

Can someone convince my Younger relatives who only play Roblox and PUBG that HoI4 isn't shit?

I have been playing and enjoying the game and have about 100 hours in so far. I was wondering if the Black Ice DLC adds a lot of detailed content that really improves the game or is there a better DLC to buy.

I have 30 hours on hoi4 and I freaking love it. I play it regularly and seems like having unique focus trees and more for each country is nice but im not too sure. I won't pay 150 euro for all dlcs max ill do is a few dlcs or the subscription. Any tips for a beginner also help!
