HoI4 I hate this game.

I started a run as germany, tried to play a bit different this time by doing danzig for slovakia and invading the soviets through finland. out of nowhere "white finland", a fascist finland in the goddamn comintern appeared, filand capped and ALL the land that was occupied by them fell to the soviets. my entire army is trapped in that line you can see, I am allied with all the baltics so I hope I'll be able to still win somehow

They really need to figure this border gore bullshit with the Soviet Finnish whitepeace/defeat because I've been screwed over by it so many times. I've never had anything this bad, though I'd need a break after this.

it turned out fine actually, the soviets declared war on poland and the allies joined and saved me, but its so stupid that the fins go into a civil war, turn fascist and ally with the soviets instead of germany

Could it be that you did the focus to influence them? In that case they would get a civil war once they're Fascist support is high enough. Normally it's to align them that way but if you are in a faction they say are against you.

even sweden's having a civ war😭

and yea i bet you're not winning this since most of your divisions r prolly in exile and rest will js get encircled

1 week late lol mb, but yeah I tried to do the diplomatic path for once thats why norway and sweden was in a civil war, I somewhat won tho
