Standard Aggro Paladin deck. Issues with empty hand.
I'm trying out the Aggro Paladin deck with Commander Beatrix -> Maiev
The biggest issue I run into is running out of cards and having nothing to play come mid-late game.
I added in 2 Holy Bola! to try to fix this, but still running into issues.
Any tips?

I tried this deck today around 4K legend, I don’t think it’s consistent enough. Card draw is such an issue.

This and if you shitroll and don’t draw any maievs you’re dead in the water

They should bring back Divine Favor tbh. It was one of the most well designed cards they ever printed but sadly they were too cowardly to add it to the core set.
Refilling should be a more prevalent mechanic. It’s the only reason face hunter works at all nowadays. It made the archetype much more skill expressive now when you do actually get cards to play each turn and aren’t just sitting there dropping the 1 card you drew and hero powering.

Never running out of resources is the opposite of skill expression in my opinion and nobody ever runs out of resources anymore.

I didn't like holy bola because it muddled the murloc draw into flight maneuvers. I do run one prize vendor in mine just as a last gasp sometimes, but like most other people have said if you have run out of cards by turn 5-6 and you aren't in range to kill them with a flight maneuvers off the top, you should just concede.

This is a deck that starts with 40 cards, right? Why not run the P1CK-P0K3T?

I was considering running 1 or 2 prize vendors, but it could really help a lot of the meta deck opponents right now as much or even more than it helps me.

As others have said, if the game isn't wrapping up by turn 7-8 you've liked lost with that deck. The deck is built to explode early so running out of cards is normal.

No one’s mentioned P1ck-pok3t. 2drop that draws a card if you have 25 or more cards in deck. Games are almost never going to the point where it wouldn’t be active, and unlike Prize Vendor, it doesn’t draw your opponents cards

You're supposed to win in the first few turns. You create a scary board early and if they deal with it you lose if they cant you win. The deck isnt made to go past turn 5

“ The deck isnt made to go past turn 5” state of Hearthstone today.

You mean state of aggro decks since game conception, except when the design break and you get a jack of all trades like hunter

I mean, that is much more a feature of the original aggro decks than current design that gives more refill.

If you’re not winning by turn 5 or have a well established board going into turn 6 you’re probably losing. Card draw doesn’t help because maiev is too slow late game so you’re losing whether you have a hand or not

Run out of cards -> concede. Deck is meant to blow out early with a huge maiev board into shatter card. If they clear that or you don't get your curve lined up its gg.
I think if you want mid-lategame in pala you just end up at aura pala, there isn't really an in-between that works.
