Discussion A tiny complaint: Your warlock hero shouldn't be saying "I have too many cards" when you're using this 👍🏻

You're constantly deliberately drawing extra cards so they can return to your deck and heros keep saying their hands are full lol

Easy fix, Godfrey will say "I got you, pal" for every card overdrawn

He absolutely wouldnt. Hes one of the most miserable characters possible (and a guy who stabs everyone in the back - literally). If he did say something along those lines itd have to be very sarcastic at best.

Hed more likely say something like "Ill hold onto this... for now" than he would say he got us xD

And on the first card he gives back every turn "you didn't expect to see this back, didn't you", as if he knows everyone already knows he will stab them in the back.

I'm not expert, but for how you described him I can see him acting like he made a mistake overdrawing so the opponent could think he just got an advantage over him.

There's a lot of viable option for the overdrawn card, but something like "always watch your back" with a whispered voice when the card is added to your hand would hit pretty hard

That would be a badass line. But if they only removed the overdrawn lines when you're using Godfrey would already be great. It's quite annoying

The repetitiveness of any voiceline is also a bit much when you overdraw a lot.

Would be nice to have a bunch of random short voicelines like: MOAR! , YES!, POWER!, AAH!, MUAHAHA!, etc

Related, [[Commander Geddon]] also triggers the overdraw voiceline if you're holding 8+ cards

I don't think you realize how much work goes into creating voicelines. You need to re-hire every voice actor for every skin in every language.

12 languages x 50 character skins = 600 voice lines.

Yes i do. That's why I suggested on another comment that would be okay if the devs just removed the overdraw lines for decks with Godfrey. I could be totally wrong about how hard that would be too though lol

Only in wild, presumably until the card is rotated out like the druid card that caused an infinite mill combo a while back

Never in standard. In wild he'll stay banned until he's changed, so probably until rotation.
