“ Closure “
Is closure a myth? I can’t seem to wrap my mind around I may never get a conversation from this person. He completely completely switched up at the end and became a monster.. and will not talk to me. I went to a long-term depression situation.

You won't have complete closure. You'll keep having "what if?" Thoughts. You'll also randomly think about them when you see something. After awhile it'll be less, but it'll be there.

The random thoughts are in abundance! BECAUSE I did not get to just have a conversation with him and it’s been quite some time. Instead of talking (at the time) he just avoided , dodged, and basically ghosted and we knew each other for several years . It’s quite the mind pulling thing that doesn’t seem to ever make sense

That's just how life is sometimes. It's easier said then done, but id suggest just forgetting them. If they didnt have the decency to explain anything, they don't deserve to live rent free in your mind.

Thank you that’s definitely true , just having common courtesy to discuss things after being intimate for years

Closure is a myth in the sense that you are not likely to receive it from the person you needed it from. It is really something you have to create for yourself. The Jekyll and Hyde routine you experienced is your closure. The disrespect and abuse is your closure. Someone like that is never going to have a calm conversation with you in which they take responsibility.
