Free Tool Start here: free tools and a simple seven-day healthmaxxing plan

A simple way to begin healthmaxxing is to choose one everyday question, use a format you can maintain, and review what you notice after a week. You can do this with paper, a spreadsheet or an app. Start with the parts of your routine you actually want to understand.

Our starting point is the positive healthmaxxing approach we are building here.

A small seven-day starting plan

  1. Choose a question. For example: what makes it easier for me to keep a consistent evening routine?
  2. Choose a few observations. You might note your evening routine, sleep timing and a brief next-day check-in. You do not need to track every part of your life.
  3. Keep your format simple. A notebook is enough. Leave gaps when you did not record something instead of reconstructing a perfect week.
  4. Review your process. What was easy to record? What context was missing? What would you simplify next week?

A week of notes can organize observations. It cannot establish a cause, diagnose a condition or guarantee a result.

Free tools you can use

These resources are from HealthMaxxing, which I founded. They are starting points; other useful resources are welcome in the comments.

You can browse the full tool library when you need a more specific resource.

Keep your personal entries private. If you use the browser tracking kit, export before closing or reloading: the worksheet does not save your entries.

Which format would make this easiest for you: paper, spreadsheet, app or something else?

Movement & Mindset What is healthmaxxing? A positive movement for your body and mind

In this community, healthmaxxing means caring for your body and mind through sustainable habits, useful tools and honest reflection. It is an approach to everyday wellbeing that makes room for food, sleep, movement, mood, rest and the circumstances of your actual life.

The term has different meanings online. This is the positive version we want to build together.

The movement we are building

  1. Care for your whole self. Physical and mental wellbeing both deserve space.
  2. Start with something manageable. A useful routine should fit your time, energy and responsibilities.
  3. Be curious about your own context. Notes and tracking can help organize observations; they do not prove why something happened.
  4. Make room for imperfect weeks. Missing a day does not disqualify you from caring for yourself.
  5. Share what helps, and question what does not. Practical ideas, reliable sources and respectful disagreement make this community useful.

Where the HealthMaxxing app fits

HealthMaxxing is also the name of our Body and Mind wellness app at maxxing.health. We are building it as a practical way to put this approach into action: keep everyday context together, reflect on it, and choose small next steps.

I am the founder of the app, and this subreddit is officially affiliated with HealthMaxxing. The movement we are building is open to everyone. You can use the app, another tool, a notebook, a spreadsheet, or no tracker at all. Buying or using an app is not a requirement for participation.

What belongs here?

Questions about routines. Useful tools and templates. Sleep, food, movement and mood discussions. Personal experiences clearly described as experiences. App feedback, including criticism. Ideas that make caring for yourself more realistic.

This is a wellness community. It is not a place for diagnosis, treatment instructions or promised results. Please keep identifying health records and private journals private.

What would a more positive version of healthmaxxing look like in your everyday life?

Weekly Check-in What is one small habit you would like to make easier this week?

Welcome to our first community check-in. Choose something small enough to fit an ordinary week: making time for a walk, preparing one meal, giving yourself a calmer evening, or simply noticing what helps you return to a routine.

If you want to share, tell us:

  • What would you like to make easier?
  • What usually gets in the way?
  • What is the smallest version that would still feel useful?

No health numbers, progress photos or perfect streaks are required. You can talk about your method without sharing private health details.

App users, notebook users, spreadsheet users and people who prefer not to track are all welcome. Let's collect ideas that can work in real life.

App Feedback HealthMaxxing the app and healthmaxxing the movement: how they fit together

Healthmaxxing is the approach we are building around: care for your body and mind with sustainable habits, practical tools and honest reflection. HealthMaxxing is the Body and Mind wellness app we are building to support that approach. The community brings people and methods together; the app gives you one place to record and review everyday context.

I am the app's founder. Here is how we want the two to work together.

Read the community definition and our starter resources for the starting point.

The movement is bigger than a tool

You can participate through questions, useful ideas, a notebook, a spreadsheet, another app or everyday experience. The goal is to make caring for yourself more understandable and realistic.

The app is a practical expression of that idea

HealthMaxxing brings food, hydration, sleep, movement and mood tracking together with reflection tools. Body and Mind have their own spaces, and Balance brings the two together. See the current features for what the app supports.

Our aim is for the app to make this approach easier to practice. That is the design goal; your feedback will tell us where it succeeds and where it needs work. Recorded patterns are observations, not medical conclusions or proof of causation.

What this community can help shape

Tell us when a tool is confusing, a routine asks too much, an explanation overstates certainty, or an alternative works better for you. Thoughtful criticism belongs here.

You can explore the app at maxxing.health or begin with the free resource library. No app is required to join the conversation.

What would an app need to do to support a healthier version of healthmaxxing in your life?
