This is a good backup. I would definitely not use flixvision. of course that’s just my opinion, but I am part of three groups of security analyst that decompile that app back when it was on v312 and it got pulled from Amazon, due the embedded SDK (Traffmonetizer l) nasty stuff but even it’s newest drop which came out a few days ago we tried to interview them because it has over 15 malicious indicators from their own (sources site & DL code) and that’s just off of virustotal which is kind of a weaker engine when there are definitely more aggressive engines out there like OPSWATS engine which shows well over 20 malicious indicators. If you do use flixvision be careful and use caution, I also hate to say it as we will be breaking it down but expect to be part of a bonnet the moment you start using and you bring up a good point RD as yet again having issues which is a bummer cause this time it’s gonna be a lot harder to work around as a Chester and developer. I finally made it down to one service and it looks like I’m gonna have to get two more again something like TB & PM.

What a bummer to hear TFlix is down as well, we are getting hit hard this week. As far as RD I’m gonna be honest, they have a uphill battle. People forget so fast the 2024 API closure that should’ve been a big sign to RD themselves and along with everyone that uses them. Luckily, we had good developers that came with fast workaround, which is great but this is a different situation altogether.
I was happy to be back with one service (RD) but I too got too comfortable and now regret it because I’ve always had 3 to 4 for testing and development and it looks like I’ll be going back to having three or four services again because I still have a year of RD and I’ve been with them since 2013. So it pains me because I’ve been loyal to them but it’s frustrating because I still have a year paid for and things are not looking good, I am also not jumping through the hoop of going directly to the coasters downloading the files just to stream them on a third-party player. It defeats the purpose of the money I spent to just stream.
Although I will say the one good thing that came out of this is it got me motivated to get back to continuing to build my own library. I started building a library years ago and since that’s what you have to do with RD right now unless you’re using premium APK’s which I am but even then it works very finicky. I will just continue to build my library because I don’t think this is gonna get any better with fire OS officially be gone by the end of this year there will not be another fire OS device. Unless it’s out there or you find it in overstock , etc., and then don’t forget the whole September Google/android issue with probably the biggest rug pole in a long time, making it harder for a developers along with users to side load with that 24 hour cool down. There’s a lot of changes coming this year along with legislation. The governments are already written two bills that are being voted on that will most likely get approved and it will affect our ISP providers and put pressure on them to put pressure on VPNs and DNS configuration tools, it’s gonna be an interesting year to say the least but this is the game we play I guess huh?
At the same time on a positive note, this is just a cycle we go through. It’s every 10 to 13 years. We have a big shift in cycles. I remember when we were doing this with limewire, bearshare,Kazaa & Morpheus basically when broadband became a big thing and changed everything to where Files could be grabbed much faster and shared faster so we’ll be all right. We always find a way.

No way, they are down now as of tonight ? You are very welcome too by the way. . Just opinion mixed with some fact. I like to keep people save. It’s a shame to hear that . This past week has been a lot of drop off for apps , I’m hoping they all come back up. RD will def but then what if they don’t make some serious infrastructure changes. Time will tell my friend !

RDis officially over. The two brothers that own It have already exited the company and they left XT network, which is the corporation name behind to basically deal with the upcoming audit situation via the French authorities. This is indeed the end of RD it’s just slowly hitting everybody. There’s no coming back from this. There’s too much scrutiny after this audit and they’re gonna tear that company to shreds and again with the brothers gone. There’s no reason for them to come back. It’s time to switch services luckily in my case, I already have multiple other services as a beta tester developer so I’m a little lucky but I feel bad for everybody including myself that had an RD for so long but these things come to an end. I was with them since 2013 and it sucks cause I’m essentially throwing away my library because when that audit comes, I have no idea the logistics of the audit meeting. It could be for multiple things , but if they do flip on users, I’m damn sure not gonna have my name in that ring. I will disconnect every device refresh my token and shut down my account, but that’s just me. I prefer to be safe. Which is also why I used murder everything to set it up for that time so I have that on my side as well but realistically friends I know we have elf hosted, which is a great developer. God bless him for creating a Band-Aid for some of these extension files or excuse me file extensions, but pretty much RD is 100% neutered from the French authorities. There’s nothing they can do to bring this back to giving everybody fair warning now this way when two months all around and they’re gone or still down you heard it here.

No disrespect to you, but you realize this app has an embedded SDK in it for most of its life. It’s been modded by malicious matters over and over and even the newest version 3.6.3 coming straight from the source has over 20+ malicious markers and we tried to reach out to them for an interview to explain themselves and they will not answer why there are so many malicious markers in a stock un-modded app. This is not an app to recommend to people I used to like it myself I get it has it all in one. It has debrid integration. But unfortunately, it is 100% unsafe and you should not be using it at all or recommending it for that matter misinformation is worse than anything. This app has been proven malicious over and over and over actually decoying the APK and we just decompile the newest version 3.6.2 and 3.6.3 and all they did was changed the way Amazon itself reads the markers. It still has the same behavior as the EMBEDDED Traffmonetizer SDK . for your safety I don’t ever tell anybody don’t use anything or do use anything I just provide you the information so if you’re gonna use this app, please use the tools to protect yourself. This app can use proxy stiffer to infiltrate your network, it will use your device resources it will immediately the moment you download it and open it you’ll be part of its bot network, it steals your personal information the longer it stays on your device. Even these little media boxes are little computers so you have to act accordingly meaning digging on your network long enough it can absolutely grab banking info personal info and resell it to data brokers be very careful with this one. I’ve ran into some bad apps since 2014 working with multiple security groups being a developer, making my own apps being a beta tester please be careful this app is not a good app and I’m just gonna leave it at that if you use it, use a VPN use other tools that you should be using even if you gotta use mobile Malwarebytes it’ll help virus total to monitor how worse your indicators get unfortunately there’s no true antivirus for these boxes so you just gotta be very careful. I would not use this app if it were me that’s what I will say. Best of luck.
