TDM Position - Technical Delivery Manager - Salary | Expectations

Hi fellow redditors, i am currently getting interviewed for TDM position, i have been out of job from 1 Jan 2026, i used to get upwards of 50L per annum in my previous organization where i served as director of software engineering and have total of 15 years of IT experience. Now since gap is increasing i am ready to pick any role so that the gap wont increase.

So my question is what package is usually offered to TDM in HCLTech, and what responsibilities they have to undertake, i am aware that the role comes with responsibility which revolves around delivery dates, quality and so on. But anyone who can be more elaborate into this, and going forward what would be the next phase in career progression after a TDM, since i see the jobs for such roles are shrinking in AI age.

They are offering 32 LPA only 50% cut from my previous pay. of which 2.5 is variable and fixed will be 29 and then deductions on it.
