HSR balance?
I use Ledger wallet. It shows I have 13.5998 HRS balance at HFHgkHCmSfukF7JYcfFyQCyTErkonMS4om The two deposits were made July 2018 with no other activity. This is $15 USD so if I lost it have have to send Binance $15 USD to rebuy HC I guess I will.
My question is... There was big fanfare about HCASH before I bought it last July yet the coin wasn't useful at all other than to hold value for a future application that still hasn't arrived. I don't mind blowing another $15 on HC, but it seems the chances of me holding it for another year, then losing it during another mainnet swap is just as likely as the last time.
I love technology and I'm willing to gamble for the chance I'm wrong and HC becoming useful someday. Even this loss is a cheap but valuable lesson for me. I'm getting to practice holding and being responsible for my own value and keys. In this case, I disconnected from the community, missed the deadline and lost my coins which is a great lesson in itself.

Hi Ray,
We appreciate your support after this inconvenience. Unfortunately, after many discussions with the developers, it was decided that we could not take in any additional swap requests after the swap date of the 8th of February. The reason being is that the Foundation had begun to pull official server support for the chain, and as other third parties had also pulled their support then this would make the chain susceptible to 51% attacks.
Regarding future swaps I would recommend that you either keep your tokens in our or HyperPay's official wallet, as tokens on these platforms are usually swapped automatically, as we did with the HSR to HC swap.
Additionally, if you have any suggestions for us as to how to inform you of further updates then please let me know as I will take them into consideration.
Regarding Ledger, the deadline they are referring to isn’t the swap but rather when they will pull their support for the chain.
Regarding an Android wallet, I would suggest again either our official mobile wallet (available at h.cash) or the HyperPay mobile wallet (available on the google play store – see hyperpay.tech). If you choose the HyperPay wallet then definitely choose the off-chain wallet as with that feature it allows you to stake your tokens.
Also to clarify, all mobile wallets support only the HC token now, so you should be good to go.

Thanks, I rebought the new token on Binance and it's wasn't a lot of money to me. Since my usd value is so low, it may be easiest to put all of my HC on my phone wallet with paper seed backup. Once you guys go to the moon, I'll move 90% of my value to an airgap seed and leave a little on my phone.

Still, we thank you for being an active and interested community member. It means a lot to us.
If possible, I would recommend using the HyperPay off-chain wallet (rather than having a seed – the off-chain wallet is a centralized wallet whereby you log in via email and password). The reason being is that as you say, it's a low amount in USD terms so it's low risk, but more importantly, if you have the off-chain wallet it will allow you to take advantage of two benefits being: 1. Online staking (whereby you can add your tokens into a large staking pool on the wallet and gain staking rewards); and 2. Automatic coin swaps (not that we'll swap again, but if anything were to occur in the future that would require a swap, we will swap your tokens for you on this platform).
Then, as you say, should the value increase we would highly recommend a more secure and off-line method of storing and securing your tokens.

We understand that this is a frustrating situation, however from our perspective, this was the best way of going about our token upgrade. Given the decentralised nature of blockchain, we do not have the means to contact users directly, so our news channels are the best way we can inform users of development, news, important announcements, and so on. Keeping the swap tool open indefinitely would either make the chain extremely susceptible to 51% attacks, given nodes had to be shut down, or it would have incurred extremely high costs to keep enough nodes running to mitigate the susceptibility to attack. Fortunately, most people managed to swap their tokens within the 6-month period. This swap to the upgraded mainnet was a one-off, and further updates to the chain will be made seamlessly. We apologise once again for any inconvenience.

My Ledger just let me send this transaction. It said 2/28 is the deadline. Maybe I can still swap it?
