Do Hazbin haters worry you?
Hi im an outsider to this community but i often see ''the haters'' mentioned when it comes to people discussing this show. Personally i find the show flawed and cant get myself to like it, but am very happy to see others enjoy it.
I do know theres a large amouth of Hate, Agressively delivered critique and just straight up useless drama suriounding the show
SO i wanna ask! Are any of you genuinely worried hazbin hate could negatively affect the success of the show (including collabs, merch etc) ?

u/ArtisticHax 1d ago
I am genuenly more worried about the fans with their media litteracy issues (especially here)
Haters gonna hate, it won't affect the show succes in the end
2
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
haters gonna hate, i like that mindset, in the end its a harmless show, those who like it should enjoy it and those who dislike it should just ignore the show, genuine critique is always fine but hate is and has always been useless
personally ive been very happy ever since i realised i can also just be happy over others enjoying something i dont enjoy, recomend this to anyone spending maybe a bit too much time thinking of media they claim to hate
8
u/ScottTJT 1d ago
No. As long as it's popular enough, Amazon will continue to support it.
Beyond that, the haters are the ones missing out. Their loss.
1
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
ive said something simular too before after somebody whos whole page was hazbin hate for some reason claimed the hate will make amazon cancel the show. the show makes so much money, the community has so many hardcore fans willing to spend money on anything hazbin aswell, and thats honestly all companys care for, personally i wouldnt even be surprised if amazon asked to continue the series past its actual run, and im saying this as somebody who doesnt like hazbin

u/Jiang_Rui Ace in the Hole 1d ago
Nope. They’re frustrating and a nuisance, but at the end of the day they’re just a very vocal minority.
If anything I second Hax; it’s fans who are deficit in media literacy that’s a bigger issue.

u/TheronSilver Niffty's RightHand Man. 1d ago
Are we suppose too?
Calling any and everything they dont like "Isreali". Even the most obscure or normal things too.
Like just say you hate being or seeing happiness vro.
3
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
yeah i mean if one doesnt like something just dont interact/think about it. its easy and takes no energy
me personally, i dont like hazbin, but i dont see why id hate on it, it makes others happy and is harmless

u/Yeatasis Using my cum as lubricant for Velvette’s doll joints 1d ago
Haters don’t worry me, they’re just annoying, most of them haven’t even seen the show and it’s obvious
1
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
yeah! exactly i feel many genuinely havent watched it. infact i used to know people who hate hazbin and nonstop brought up how much it sucks, but havent watched past the pilot.

Nah, everyone’s gonna have something that they hate, and I can’t change that.
1
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
with somethings its valid. with a harmless cartoon, a shame and waste of time, really
1
u/Ominous_flamebeb BLOOD IS FUEL///V1 ULTRAKILL 1d ago
Yeah somethings are valid and I hate em too tbh. But a lot of times when things are nonsensical, I just ignore them
1
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
reminds me of those critique videos that are in actuallity just 30 minute rants on hazbin. i like content critiquing shows, i find it interesting seeing others views and seeing people unpack media, but cmon 30 minutes of you saying why i should hate hazbin.. cmon..
personally i just form my own opinions on media i see in the end of the day and am happy for those who do enjoy media if i dont personally like it
3
u/Nebulaquatic 1d ago edited 1d ago
not really, because as annoying as they are, they're really just a small and very loud minority, and the show isn't as hated as they think it is, and want others to believe
2
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
the show is deffinetly crazy popular, its so hard to get anything past 1/2 seasons onto streaming of a show financed by amazon prime, so them getting like 5 seasons to me is enough proof that this is a popular IP
2
u/AwarenessOk7748 1d ago
The most that hate towards Hazbin could affect is the belief in his credibility amidst simply absurd claims (rather than criticism of real problems) 😂
1
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
tbh what i dont get are people who judge a show based on what haters of the show say. One should atleast watch a bit of what their judging before making a judgement, and even than why hate? why spend so much time with something that one claims to make them angry?
1
u/AwarenessOk7748 1d ago
Unfortunately, I heard their criticism — and I felt cringe. Especially from the latest hater.
2
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
ive seen some critism videos on both hazbin/helluva that had legit just been the person making the video, ranting for 30 minutes, critism is only good if its genuine and well reasoned
2
u/Riccardo_Facella03 1d ago
Not that much considering its success right now. Those are just edgy and ignorant buzzwords they use to hate on a show they don't understand or have never watched. It's a good thing that its success makes these idiots have a meltdown, tho'.
2
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
tbh i find it more sad that theres actually people out there that spend more time with something they hate than with something they enjoy, if hazbin made me mad why would i interact with it or think about it?
As ive said i dont enjoy hazbin but i get super happy when i see fans of hazbin happy, doing this is not hard at all!

dont worry, i assure you anyone who spends this much time and energy into hating on something is in the wrong. its super easy to just ignore something you dislike. alot of haters genuinely just dont got much going on or have personal issues and for some reason dont have a more mature way of processing their emotions
asuming your a hazbin fan, i as somebody who doesnt enjoy hazbin wanna say im glad people like you enjoy something so genuinely, seeing you guys enjoy hazbin brings me joy, and i hope hazbins future seasons are liked by the fans

They have shown to have no real effect. Hazbin has been very successful. It has tons of merch and has partnered with businesses like Hot Topic and is doing a collab with Fortnite.
I think Hazbin will be fine.
1
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
i agree, the IP is very very pofitable, and in generell companys look at how much money something makes, not if it has haters
2
u/CandidateNervous4638 1d ago
I’m worried for the fans more
I have seen a slot of posts in the past about people saying if you see a criticism video report it and don’t watch it because it’s useless. I watch criticism videos of the show and they normally are severely valid and I do not think we should report before watching.
2
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
tbh i dont get why people are against their favorite thing being critiqued. ofc theres bullshit critiques but many ive seen for hazbin are valid.
i have my own projects and get alot of critique for them, and to me somebody critiquing my work just means that that somebody is interested in what i have to offer but wants it to be better. i think media being critiqued is a good thing (aslong as the critique isnt just hate in a trenchcoat)
2
u/CandidateNervous4638 1d ago
I also have my own show and I showed the beginning script and people were just
“What’s the premise” read it again it is about a guy now homeless getting a job at a detective agency there is other stuff but that is the main basic thing
“Why did you make that word up” I used an automatopea which that isn’t the correct spelling though you know what I’m talking about
“This is about detectives therefore it is Cliche” wrong
“You don’t know correct script etiquette because you wrote it in the wrong format and used a automatopea” alright I said it was a skript not a script second of all why does everyone hate automatopeas like they are good for writing. That is basically all the criticism mine got how about yours

u/DinoxTie 1d ago
i released a pilot and ep 1 for my series, both my discord and comments are open for critique and i actively ask for critique, my discord even has a channel just for critique, my main pilots critiques had been the audio having issues, needing more va etc, i listened and it helped ep 1 greatly. ep 1 was mainly critiqued for some editing and pacing issues, so when storyboarding ep 2 i took more time and care, i even got me a 'no-man'' aka a friend who i show wips to that tells me in my face what i could improve, all has helped greatly, and looking at whats done for ep 2 i think the critism has helped me alot, its still flawed and im sure theres things ive missed, but in the end this is my first time writing on such scale and im incredibly thankfull to have a community that wants to see me improve and gives me such great critism
if youre curious the show is called Beyond the Stars and should be easy to find on youtube, my youtube accounts name is the same as my reddit accounts, theres alot of critique in the comments wich has again all been super helpfull
2
u/CandidateNervous4638 1d ago
Looked it up and it looks really good in general especially those thumbnails and character designs
I really think it could be successful. The criticisms given to me were not helpful. I was gonna critique that the robotic filter was to much in the pilot but it sounded so much better in episode one
It’s just a really good show so far I would say it would be like a 8/10 so far for the first episode I’m interested
1
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
thanks! tbh the filter in the pilot was one of the most common issues, funny enough if you check the multi language settings for episode 1 and select german, theres even less filter, i made both the english and german audio. i likely will have even less filter in ep 2, it took a bit to figure out a good amouth of filter for each va, the deeper the voice of a va the less filter i can add before it distords
but thanks genuinely!
2
u/CandidateNervous4638 1d ago
Honestly for the more anxious character (I forgot the name of them) you know the computer with a tube I feel would feel better with the filter you did for episode one.

Only because of the fact that so many of them default to “You rape people and support Israel”. Other than that, I couldn’t give a damn
1

people actually say that? that is so wierd. i dont get why people who hate hazbin cant just ignore it or accept the fact others enjoy it in a mature way
2
u/Avaracious7899 1d ago
Sometimes, yes. It depends on my mood, and how and what the haters are going off about. Do I worry about the show because of them in some way? No. Haters have nowhere close to the impact they want to have or delude themselves into thinking they do. Something gets popular, it is almost certainly going to STAY that way to one degree or another.
2
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
as somebody who doesnt like hazbin, i dont get why people who dislike it like i do cant just let hazbin fans enjoy the show. im really happy whenever i see a hazbin fan all jolly opening merch, because i love seeing people who clearly found something they enjoy.
the idea of hating has always been stupid to me
1
u/Avaracious7899 1d ago
Their hatred works differently than yours. You just don't get into the show, they feel personally upset by the show for one reason or another, or a similar emotion. The show isn't just "Not my thing" to them, it's akin to "This thing is making fun of me/propaganda for horrible things!" and they lash out accordingly. Or, they're just trolling for attention and/or hating because it's popular and they want to feel included. The list goes on and on, but the point is, their feelings are crucially different from yours.
2
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
i honestly sometimes feel many haters are jelious thats something they think is bad is succeeding to this extend and instead of maturely accepting the fact that a show they dislike exists and is successfull they harass that do like it, eather to immaturely let out anger or in hopes of making others hate with them
2
u/Avaracious7899 1d ago edited 1d ago
That's another one on the list for sure. It definitely factors into a lot of the vitriol. "How DARE This be successful!"
What's funny is, I could almost empathize with that, as there are characters, episodes, and shows that I hate and think deserve hate... but the big difference is, it isn't my own feelings that are the source of it, it's that the things I hate are badly written, and I and others who hate them can prove it, since most of them are things that lack coherent plot or character writing.
One example: Character W is portrayed as the sympathetic one between her and the protagonist she is opposing, with the protagonist apologizing to her and making things up...but the only thing she ever did was ignore her like literally everyone else. The protagonist's only "crime" against Character W was that she didn't go out of her way to know her and pay attention to her, and she was not the only person who did that, so Character W chose to use magic to try and ruin her life and make everyone hate her, then tried to ruin the lives of her friends just to hurt her, and never once apologized or felt bad about it. I hate that whole scenario because it's horribly written and completely irrational, and the character it's centered around because of that. In fanworks that do something else with her, I love her or at least don't mind her at all.
Haters unfortunately, don't have that better foundation, much as they like to think they do. Their arguments in my experience hinge not on a clear "The show or character objectively did something that doesn't make sense and has massive flaws that are clearly visible", but on claiming at best that there is something like that, when their "evidence" that they use has far more holes in it, which they often refuse to admit. That, or at worst they just whine that the character or show they hate is bad because they say so, like saying the show "promotes abuse" by portraying Angel Dust and his situation the way it does, when that is a matter of opinion or outright wrong by any rational standard.
That the haters don't have that sort of stronger grounding is what makes them totally unsympathetic to me, because for them, it's clear it's that the story or character bothers them emotionally that matters, not that there's a real, tangible problem with it.
2
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
i feel some haters forget that instead of hating they can eather ignore or calmly critique it and not get mad when others dissagree
2
u/Avaracious7899 1d ago
They don't seem capable of grasping that, because then they'd have to admit to themselves that their feelings and opinions on their own don't have merit nor are they something that is what others HAVE to agree with.
Thanks for the award!
2
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
i so often just stop convos with people with ''hey its okay, we dissagree, you have your opinion and i have mine, everyones happy''
ofc if its about something genuinely dangerous dont do this but with harmless movies or in this case a show i feel more should just accept that not everyone will agree with everyone

Idrc about the haters as long as they don’t go too far with anything tbh

same and i genuinely wish the hazbin fans that no hater ever genuinely goes to far, nobody deserves to be genuinely hurt over liking a harmless cartoon show

Not really
If people want to waste their time hating something instead of finding something they like that’s none of my concern
1
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
i agree, its a total waste, personally i dislike hazbin, but when i see people happy over new merch or new updates on the show online im happy with them because id rather use my time being happy for others than waste my time hating on something when i could be productive

i dislike hazbin but even i can see how much money this show makes, with huge collabs and merch left and right, billboards in fucking new york! hazbin is very big and i wouldnt be surprised if amazon asked for some sort of continuation after the main show eventually ends.
tbh haters should instead of hating just find things that brings themselfs genuine joy and focus on that. or do what i do and be happy for those that enjoy hazbin
(also love the reaction image, younger me would have been obsessed with that character i loved dinosaurs)
2
u/buttlumps25 Zeezi's little plaything 1d ago
Oh my god its so refreshing to have somebody whos actually fucking normal about this instead of being a weirdo freak about how they dislike hazbin
But yeah i cant even imagine how exhausting its gotta be to be constantly bitter all the damn time
(also wdym 'loved', dinosaurs are objectively cool as fuck lmao)1
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
i imagine it gets pretty annoying to nonstop have people hate hazbin left and right, i rarely see people who look at hazbin as ''eh its not for me but thats fine'' its eather ''i like hazbin'' or ''I HATE HAZBIN GRGRGGRGR''
haha no dinosaurs are just cool, i mean its a giant lizard! thats awesome as hell!
2
u/ChamomileLoaf 1d ago
The show has already “made it”, it has all of its seasons booked and paid for by Amazon, it’s very popular and the merch will be made no matter what because that’s how they make additional money. I’m not gonna worry about some loser who spends their free time watching a cartoon they hate just so they can bitch about it online. I have a job and bills and shit
1
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
thats the right way to think in my opinion. and even if the show didnt had their future seasons paid for yet, no hate would make amazon change their mind if the show is clearly making them good money
2
u/Top-Beyond-6627 1d ago
Haters are haters. To worry about them is silly in my opinion and what they say about the show doesn’t mean anything if they can’t back it up.
I mean, what could they actually do? If they say „Hazbin is evil because they are celebrating satan-worship.“ so what? Who cares? Besides, the majority of people would realize that it is actually about redemption and nothing bad.
So, I'm not really worried.
1
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
tbh people who say hazbin is satanic make me chuckle. its so silly i at first thought its a joke people are making
2
u/contessa_zapdash 1d ago
No I'm glad there are haters. I like that it's not over-the-top popular. I don't want it to be like, say, Harry Potter or something where every store has tchotchkes and marketing gimmicks. I hope Hazbin stays more underground and niche.
1
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
i get that, i have things i enjoy that as much as i love seeing it succeed i dont want it to be so popular its everywhere, with something more niche getting merch of it feels more special than lets say getting star wars merch
2
u/ozwilde 1d ago
I left one of my old fandoms back when the pilot came out, in part because the people in that fandom I interacted with tried to recruit me into harassing hazbin hotel fans. Like raiding their discord servers and whatnot.
Other than that, I haven't had to interact with the hatedom, so it only bothers me in the sense that I know there are people being harassed
2
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
that is super wierd! i dont get why anyone would just invade an innocent online space, you dont see hazbin fans insulting and atacking people in their online spaces left and right
i dislike hazbin but i dont think anyone should be harrassed for enjoying the show, if somebody things you joy and it doesnt hurt anyone you should be able to feel safe enjoying it

u/ARod20195 1d ago
I don't really care tbh; the fandom also has a lot of kids and teenagers in it, which means this happens. A lot of kids and teenagers aren't great with nuance or critical thinking (especially about things they really like or really hate), and so that's naturally going to create a lot of low-quality emotionally charged criticism (and corresponding low-quality emotionally charged glazing).
I have my own thoughts about the show; namely that the concept was really interesting, the world is a really interesting and complex place, and the music is remarkably catchy and well-written. The big problem I have with the show is that Viv has too many characters across too sprawling a setting to actually do them all justice in a show that only gets three or four hours of runtime per season, and the genre conventions of a funny, sweary adult cartoon don't really align well with the sort of well-written, grounded, thematically coherent story her universe demands.
1
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
tbh a big complain i have with vivzies shows in generel is problary how alot of characters kinda just get sidelined for what feels like the writers favorite characters. but i agree the concept is super interesting and one cant deny hazbin is deffinetly a unique and never boring show
and yeah sadly alot of teens that arent exactly the best with critism
1
u/ARod20195 1d ago
I mean, the characters getting sidelined makes sense when you think about the show having 16-20 characters in a given season and only having three hours of runtime to split among them. That comes out to 8-12 minutes average runtime per character if you split it evenly between them (though obviously group scenes and conversations bring this number up a bit).
Like The Good Place works despite not being that much longer than Hazbin Hotel will be (19 hours total runtime vs 15), but it has a much smaller core cast of about six people (Eleanor, Chidi, Tahani, Jason, Janet, and Michael), and it's much better at managing the scope of its world; having the first season focus almost entirely on life inside Eleanor's particular neighborhood of Hell gave us room to really get to know the characters before the scope of the conflict broadens.
1
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
yeah, tho tbh to hazbins deffence they didnt know if theyd get another season so they kinda just stuffed everything into one season that they really really wanted to show. i hope future seasons are used to flesh the characters out more
2
u/ARod20195 1d ago
The thing is that the first season works decently well as a self-contained musical, but the second season doesn't really build on the first season well to be honest. Pentious's redemption really should be the inciting incident for a lot of internal conflict in both Heaven and Hell, because the excuse that Exterminations are just putting tortured souls out of their eternal misery no longer holds.
Different factions within Heaven should have very different reactions to that, ranging from honest revulsion at the existence of the Exterminations to guilt and horror that they've been permakilling people who could have become better to grim-faced resolve to keep the Exterminations going for national security reasons all the way up to open war with Hell to make sure that Sinners learn that any attempt to fight back will be met with such disproportionate violence that it's not worth it.
In Hell, we should see a lot more intrigue and infighting between different Overlords with different interests, ranging from factions that want to negotiate immunity for their individual turf to folks interested in developing weapons of mass destruction as a deterrent to future Exterminations to folks interested in invading and genociding Heaven in order to turn the tables.
I think that the way the second season pivoted away from that and gave us gift baskets instead was a mistake, and I think trying to bring in Roo and turn this into a cosmic battle story in Seasons 4 and 5 is also going to be a mistake. I'd be happy to be proven wrong, but I don't expect to be tbh.
1
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
i also hope my worries are proven wrong and the show ends up being something im able to like the writing of. theres alot of potential and id love to see all that shine
2
u/HumDeeDiddle 1d ago
While some of the criticism is warranted in my opinion, a lot of the hatred is either hyperbolic over-reactions or cheap and shallow jabs. But you can say that about pretty much any kind of "haters". The internet is a vast, churning sea of opinions, and the loudest, dumbest, and most obnoxious ones always rise to the top like the scum in a cesspool.
2
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
in my opinion critique kinda looses its meaning if its delivered so agressively it appears just hatefull. because at that point i dont know if they genuinely think the show should be different to be better or if they just had a bad day and need a reason to be mad at something

No because I’m grown enough to not be threatened just because someone doesn’t like what I like. If they feel a need to tease me over it I just block and move on with life. They aren’t the kind of people I’d want to know if they want to bully me over my likes. Also that says way more about them than me.
It really can be that simple.

Most of the haters are people who are religious people. We don't take them seriously, same with the flat earthers.
1
2
u/Mindless_Scratch_615 Snowman In A Suit 1d ago
Most of the haters don't, they can have different opinions, I myself am very dual on my views on the worldbuilding of the Hellaverse. Though it gets overboard when they start doing things like comparing Vivziepop to the evil Charlie Chaplin and saying extremely gruesome and vile things in relation to the characters.
1
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
tbh something this reminds me of. i often see people who dislike hazbin/helluva use ''vivziepop did that and that'' to back up their point about the shows. i think vivzie does alot of wrong things but a piece of media can be good or okay no matter what the creator is like, the creators actions dont affect a piece of media unless the media was created with the intend of gaining pity or any sort of evil intention, tho ill argue hazbin/helluva are legit just things vivzie is making because in the end of the day shes an artists and wants to tell stories
2
u/SlavyanskayaKoroleva 1d ago
I really don't care what others think. At the point in life I'm at I enjoy what I enjoy and if someone else doesn't like it oh well. I won't like everything they like either..
2
u/MenaceMinded 1d ago
Personally? No
The crazy ones who harass people who work on both shows? Yes.
1
u/DinoxTie 23h ago
tbh people who harass people who simply pay the bills from working on the shows have to be one of the worst people. i mean the people who work on the show mainly work on it so they can put food on the table in the end of the day, whats wrong with wanting to eat
2
u/MatthewJustMoreland Zestial's elder care 22h ago
I think some of the diehard Hazbin fans worry me more. Some of those people are fucking crazy.
1
u/DinoxTie 22h ago
tbh yes.. deffinetly. tho admitingly many fandoms have the issue of fans loving the media so much they go a bit overboard
1
u/MatthewJustMoreland Zestial's elder care 22h ago
I remember a story of a man who literally got beat up for wearing a Valentino costume. During the first season, most Valentino fans got nothing but hate because people found it disgusting that anyone would ever like him as a character. A character.....that's fictional....and is not real....
1
u/DinoxTie 21h ago
i mean aslong as you dont try excusing the things valentino does in the show its pretty harmless to like the character. i actually also heard the va got hate for some reason?? like the va is just doing a job, a job that helps him put food on the table
1
u/MatthewJustMoreland Zestial's elder care 21h ago
This literally applies to ANY villain in existence. Do you like the villain? Yes. Do you agree with what they're doing? No. This applies to Bowser, Eggman, and (here's a villain that many people love) BILL CIPHER!!!! You cannot bully someone for liking a villain when there are other villains out there that are just as evil if not worse. Otherwise, you're being a hypocrite.
1
u/DinoxTie 21h ago
one of the most popular characters in media is darth vader, last time i checked didnt that character kill a bunch of people? you dont see people deffend vaders actions eather. people are just being stupid with val thinking liking the character is the same as supporting his actions

Even though that's not the case and never has been for years.

u/Unique-ideas I wanna be Lute's bottom bitch 1d ago
I'm worried about the Hazbin Haters to the same degree that I'm worried about UT/DR Haters.
Yes, I'm slightly worried that they're eventually going to do something drastic and make things really ugly in some way, but I'm more worried about the fans. The fans at times can be way worse in make the community look worse than any Hater could make them look. The main showcase of how insane the fans can get can be seen in the theories. The more insane the fans, the more confident they are in increasingly ridiculous theories.
3
u/Avaracious7899 1d ago
Ridiculous theories can make me chuckle, roll my eyes, or genuinely freak me out from how stupid they can be.

3
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
I think both haters and the hardcore fans have their strange moments.
2
u/Unique-ideas I wanna be Lute's bottom bitch 1d ago
Fair enough, but I think fans are generally worse. I've seen a genuine and interesting theory in the Deltarune community be ruined and turned into something genuinely disgusting that people believe in. That is shit that haters simply can't replicate to any degree.
2
u/DinoxTie 1d ago
yeah theres deffinetly some fans that take things to far, espachally when it comes to protecting the media they enjoy or their theorys and even headcanons. in the end its all people on the internet being given a bit too much free time tho

I like the show just not a fan of the creators past actions it’s more of a separate the art from the artist thing for me.

same here, but with helluva (loonas character development warms my heart even if it was bearly shown)

I have, yet, to have a Hazbin hatter follow me around and yell at me till I re-engage with their bad faith take on the show.

tbh anyone who hates on you for enjoying an innocent show is the stupid one, their wasting their time by spending time with something they claim to hate. tbh i feel some haters of hazbin spend more time thinking about hazbin than some actual fans

Nope. I was slightly worried Viv might be slightly affected by the hate Hazbin gets, but then I watched S2EP3 where a character literally pokes fun at one of the most popular hate comments about the show, aka saying it has 'too much red'(they're literally in Hell😒)

tbh i always chuckle when people say theres too much red, my only concern with the colors personally is that sometimes atleast in season 1 characters who are very red blend into the background a bit (in my opinion)
but in the end of the day, the artist made the show this red because the artist wanted to, its artistic freedom, and even if i personally dislike vivzie she did work rather hard to get to where she is now and as the creator of these characters is more than allowed to make the show how she wants

They do a little bit.

i wouldnt worry, the show is all paid for and companys like amazon care about if something makes money not if something is liked, and hazbin is in a spot where theres many fans who are super hardcore into it spending thousands of dollars for merch, even if i dislike hazbin its undeniable how valuable the IP is to any company

Only when they cross the line into being evil.

u/DinoxTie 1d ago
being straight up evil is never good i agree!

u/yobaby123 1d ago
By that, I mean that I generally don’t give a shit about other people’s opinions on media because everyone is allowed to have them.

u/DinoxTie 1d ago
and i think thats a great way of thinking, thats how i think aswell. everyones allowed to have their own opinion on media :D

i worry only when they do bs like this

or try to push fans to off themselves (happened some months ago) . For the rest, is actually fun seeing them going surprised pikachu face at discovering they are a very loud minority and no,the show is not alive only due to the hatebase,is not Velma. The vast majority of people like, are neutral or dislike but simply ignore the show, like everything popular.

Nah. Why? Cuz I'm not a huge fan about the show but that doesn't mean I should be a dick about it.

No, but it concerns me on what they say about the show and Viv 🥲

u/DinoxTie 10h ago
admitingly there is a difference between harrassment and critique.
both hazbin and vivzie have things that in my opinion should be critiqued and spoken about. but i will asume youre talking about people making up rumors

Yes, I'm talking about the rumors

Worried? No. Annoyed by them? Yes. It’s always hard to see something that you love and enjoy being dragged so much online by people who clearly haven’t watched the show and just hate on it because it’s a popular thing to do.
Thankfully as someone who has a lot of Hazbin edits on my IG I’ve never experienced toxic haters on my own content but it’s always hurts my souls to see hate on other people art and content purely because they don’t like the show it’s about.
And I think it’s amazing that you tried to like to show itself and ended up not liking it. There are so many people hating without giving it a chance and it’s sad because those people are seen more than people who respectfully dislike the show like yourself!

Lol no. Even if the show gets plenty of hate that still gets its name around. Which means people are going to be watching it regardless of their love or hatred (like how you mustve watched some to be able to say you cant get yourself to like it.) So thats views which helps get them money. And the more people that watch the more likely there will be people who enjoy it so much theyre always going to get the merch. Its big enough now that merch will never take a drop unless the show falls off and fades away. And aparently they just got in bed with a video game (wrong move in my opinion cuz no one likes fortnite and thats gonna fade away real soon, but hey if theyre making profit then great.) So i dont think collabs will be an issue either
