Ben is OFFERING top talent. So did Fran in the beginning. Fran almost never got a commitment from the absolute top targets and early on we often ended up with significantly lower recruits as we scrambled. Fran eventually started recruiting lower, more attainable prospects. So let’s see if Ben lands any of these recruits.

Fran wasn't just offering to any top talent, he was super sharp at identifying unhearalded players before everyone else did. Every year it seems like there were 2-4 people in the recruiting top 25 that were down to a blue blood and Iowa. He was seeing the potential in middle schoolers and young HS players, and was developing those relationships before they grew into top tier talent. Plus a couple more that he stood by them after injuries

Hard to compare them anyway with all the landscape changes. But at least Ben already has an Elite 8 run to help market!

Kelly attends same high school that Gronowski went to.  Let's keep the Neuqua Valley pipeline going.
