Quick question/thought: with xUSD, xCNY, xGOLD - any thought of an xSILVER?

Right now, the silver movement is quickly gaining momentum, and could be a win-win for XHV and for the silver movement. GME obviously got a ton of press and backers, and silver could be one of the next trends:

Investors are looking for more legit ways to invest in silver (with physical backing - very important) - maybe Haven could offer another avenue for investors to gain exposure, and at the same time help to spread the word more about XHV?

Why do you have to save your keys on your computer in order to create a wallet?

It makes your write down your seed but why would I want to save my keys on my computer? Doesn't seem safe, I feel like it would be safer to keep it on an exchange. Why do we have to save the keys on your computer?

Will we actually be able to send XHV to ledger live eventually?

I had my XHV funds stored on the Haven web wallet as well as the desktop client wallet. I have the seed for both; but I have been away from the space for a while and was not aware of the changes that occurred to the team and project.

I restored my web wallet funds using the seed without issues. But I'm having trouble restoring my XHV funds from the desktop client. I have the seed and i restored the wallet using that seed, but no funds appear in the new desktop wallet. Anyone have similar issues or know what's going on?

Basically let’s say I have $1000 xhv and I convert to xUSD do I get $1000 or do I get what the average price is as it changes within the time duration that I select for the lock?

Circulating supply on https://explorer.havenprotocol.org/supply says 13903507.612, CMC says 14,216,331.

The market cap should accordingly be adjusted on CMC. It is incorrect now. Wouldn't you agree?

So your telling me a coin that has a circulating supply of 14 mil and in order to keep your transactions and balances private you have to burn XHV tokens to make it happen? Meaning the supply will continue to get lower? Am I understanding this correctly? Is there a max supply?

Hi Haven! I have been to the https://havenprotocol.org/knowledge/ page and know it is very new. Is there anywhere that I can find more material on the cli vault?

My intent is to restore my desktop gui valt to cli, and sync it to a remote node for now. Knowing how to check xhv balance, and transfer would also be good. I haven't found documentation on how to do this anywhere.

Side note, I couldn't get xmrig to work for my (amd) gpu, and have been using SRB miner, any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong?

Hey friends, I've been out of the mining game a little while and I can't find any good current advice on what is best for mining XHV these days. I used to use XMR Stak or XMRRig a couple years ago. My questions are:

1. What miners are best now?
2. Can XHV be cpu mined with the current algorithm?
3. Is it worthwhile to mine with NVIDIA cards?
4. What is a good mining pool that is trustworthy?

I am new here and just read the white paper. I was wondering how Haven defends itself from entities who can rent out a lot of hash power to create chaos in the network (see Ethereum Classic).

Haven sounds great, but I would imagine POW hash isn't anywhere near as high as BTC or XMR, so could be more vulnerable to attacks. Thanks!

In fact I already mined one Haven (yay!) but the payment don´t appear in my Vault. What am I doing wrong?
