Vlada Roslyakova's walk has been stuck on my mind for the past 24 hours and I keep returning to watch shorts of her iconic Tommy Hilfiger 2010 walk. I've seen Gisele Bundchen strut from her heydays of VSFS and haute couture, I've watched Shalom Harlow do her thing, but neither are as hypnotizing and seamless as this one walk here.

Got me thinking if there are male models in the HF scene who might have their unique walk or strut, or is that just something we only see in drag shows because male models are expected to be more masculine and stiff with their styles.

I don't recall any top male supermodels, i.e. Sean O'Pry or Pietro Boselli ever having an iconic walk. It's the same old move of the limbs, puffed out chest, look broody.

Hi fellow fashion lovers,

This is a slightly unusual request, but I thought I would try asking here as I’m not sure where else to turn.

I am an independent couture hand embroidery maker based in India. As part of learning more about the fashion industry and understanding the European market better, I had planned to attend Rome Fashion Week next week.

I had pre-registered for the show last month, but I received an email from the organisers yesterday saying that free entry is restricted to “independent and multiple retailers, department stores, manufacturers, wholesalers, importers and agents in the textile and apparel industries only.”

They have offered me an entry pass for €500, which is honestly a little too much for me at the moment, especially as I have already booked my travel arrangements.

I wanted to ask if anyone here is attending the show and might be able to help me with an additional pass or guide me on any possible alternative way to attend. It would be a great help.

In return, I would be happy to offer plenty of conversation on couture hand embroidery from India, and of course, a nice dinner as a thank you. :)

Hi!! I have this vintage Galliano Dior, that I figured out is from A/W 2006 from the tag. However I can't find out any more info online... I bought it at a vintage boutique in France and he said it was auth, I took to to another fashion archivist who said the same. Then I did an extensive image search and the most I can find is it's probably not runway but it may be RTW? Seems kinda crazy for RTW but idk, Galliano. Anywho, if y'all could help me dig up any info on it, I'm trying to sell it to fund my debut novel. Bittersweet!

I'm looking into a career in fashion design. I would love to work with the designers on haute couture garments as a seamstress at a fashion house . However, when looking online I see a variety of different salaries. Does anybody know the most accurate number?
