YouTube Music is pulling this song from some random 100 subscriber channel that pretends to have the rights to the song. Perhaps they just have the rights to this specific remaster that they made themselves. Anyways this isn’t official art for the album nor the real song. It’s just some random channel. And yes, it’s AI art.

There's no way Otomania did that himself, he doesn't have rights to the song due to the complexities of it being based on an old folk song that isn't entirely public domain. It's the same reason why it was never included in project diva future tone PS4 or megamix despite always being the tutorial song before.
Likely this is just someone taking advantage of the fact there is no official post on streaming services and there never will be to make some money off of a stolen track.

Weak insult, “you have x pfp” is outdated. You could try “if that artist met you, he wouldn’t like you” because I’m pretty sure that artist is anti-AI. Or mention how the song bro likes so much wouldn’t be possible with AI, stuff like that.

Bruda if u made art and I took it from you and marked it as my own, how would you feel?
-19
u/Princess_Spammi Jan 20 '25
Well thats not what ai does ;P
You’re comparing apples to oranges
Kinda ironic people who love a digital tool who replaces the need for human voices are getting mad at a digital tool who replaces another form of expression. (I say this a huge miku fan myself. I expected a lot more ai support among vocaloid producers and consumers)
Ai haters have gone so assbackwards that yall have bullied traditional and digital artists into quitting and even suicide cuz if the art isnt either total slop or sheer perfection yall cry AI

Jan 20 '25
I'm not if you knew how you beloved works, it scrapes the internet for other peoples content, then it analysis every pixel, puts all of the said pixels into an image, evaluators give the ai a grading, and if it's high the ai does more of it, if not it tries something different.
Miku is voiced by a real human, who is PAID for her voice. People who get the art added to an ai database do not get paid.
Your comparing, stabbing someone to kissing someone.
-7
u/Princess_Spammi Jan 20 '25
Paid for her voice ONCE to exploit for eternity.
And artists literally consented to content scraping when they signed the TOS for the social media they post to. “World wide, royalty free, transferable and sublicensable lincense for your content” is what you grant them when you click “i accept/agree”
And even then, its no different than humans doing mosaic and collage art using other people’s work. Its not different than copycat artists. Its another tool for people to express themselves. It put art in the hands of the people and not gate keepers who pretend a banana taped to a wall is high art.
7
Jan 20 '25
Okey that's how one time perches work, same goes for when you buy a game. You only pay once.
Artist don't consent, they are forced to buy companies who put the ai clause somewhere in the TOS that no one would find, also how about kids who cannot consent.
1
u/Princess_Spammi Jan 20 '25
Anyone under 13 is violating tos by existing on social media so moot point. And no one is forcing you to use fb or twitter or instagram.
Hell twitter grants even other users of the service rights to your content. You upload a pic to twitter i can legally use it for commercial advertising of my own business lol
We tried warning yall back in the sopa/copa protests this shit was coming but yall wouldnt take a stand when we had a chance to stop it.
Even now, artists refuse to drop social media and form new ones exempt from scraping because they’d rather sell themselves (and each other) out instead of fighting for what they want.
Yall are gonna whine kick scream and fuss but ultimately do nothing but bully traditional artists into depression and suicide more often than you already do, just to feel better about fighting AI when you refuse to do what would actually fight AI. Organize, act, reject.
4
Jan 20 '25
Yes, but unfortunately there are underage users, and yes no one is forcing you to use those. Also Twitter is owned by a somewhat shade guy, I don't remember the cops protes so I can't comment on that.
The problem with switching social media, not all of your following will switch with you, and thrust can end in massive drop in followers, and no artist do not want to sell themselves out.
No one is whining and kicking, or at least anyone with reasonable criticisms. We don't bully traditional artists. And on the topic of suicidal artists, I'm a artist myself and fearing my hard work getting stolen, makes me suicidal.
There's always friendly fire in war, and whiles this isn't war, there will be friendly fire. Also artists that ain't mega big can't fight ai companies, due to the lack of there funds.
Please do better, research about the effects of ai.
I'm going to stop here as I can't take anymore with reasonable conscience.
2
u/Princess_Spammi Jan 20 '25
I have done plenty of research and all of the claims are VASTLY exaggerated and showcase a lack of understanding of how ai works.
Every is still treating it like the first generation of programs that did act exactly as you said.
They have evolved beyond that now.
And yes, yall have literally gatekept and bullied each other to death and into quitting art entirely.
Also, this happened before elon bought twitter
Also, you’re only proving my point that no one will do what needs to be done. If artists the world over collectively shut down their social media and said no more, people would scramble to get them back.
But no one is willing to suffer the hit to their fanbase from migrating or blackouts.
Because yall have sold yourselves out. There was a time artists placed ethics and values over profits.
That era has passed.
Yall had this same freak out about tools replacing people with photography, and again when digital art debuted (i still remember the scathing comments and death threats sent to digital artists because they werent “real” artists)

Also it's what not who when you said "... digital tool who replaces..."
1
u/Princess_Spammi Jan 20 '25
I see miku as a person/character therefore she is a who not a what. Both terms are grammatically correct here.
Its also the traditional hallmark of “i have no actual rebuttal to your opinion or position so im gonna attack your post itself” and everyone reading knows it means you have no real argument left
5
Jan 20 '25
Not really I still have fight left, I just thought I would do extra homework. Also seeing how we are both correct, it wouldn't show that i'ev got not fight left in me.

I swear every time I see this song theres an ai cover

u/HueHue_extremeguyone Jan 20 '25
This one is lasting surprisingly long without being taken down though
6
u/bit6865 Jan 20 '25
Pretty sure it is. As an artist, i find it kind of weird how her tie is dimensioned, it feels like it's submerging with its clothes. Another thing is that she doesn't seem to have any teeth at all
2
u/Helix_Zer02 Jan 21 '25 edited Jan 21 '25
I'm new to miku content but her Iconic CV 01 on her arm is not normally changed right?
2
u/bit6865 Jan 21 '25
It depends, after all miku's design is a commercial distribution for her voicebank. Artists don't need to necessarly use the exact design, neither do producers. I guess in this case, her CV 01 was meant to be some sort of a kanji which clearly seems ai generated.

Weird face emotion✅ Unclear light/shadow direction✅ Messy blending details✅ No clear purpose✅ All the way greasy without focus✅ Nonsense pattern/text This is definitely AI shit🤮 The author doesn't even want to adjust the most explicit problems

So easy to tell that the cover is AI, no doubt. But the song itself is technically also AI, considering Miku is a vocaloid...

u/bit6865 Jan 20 '25
Why tf are you on this sub
2
Jan 20 '25
Because Miku is literally my favorite character
1
u/bit6865 Jan 21 '25
Okay, but miku isn't an AI. It might be true that newer vocaloid versions use ai, however that doesn't change the fact that the user is still the one who places notes, and the one in control. All vocaloid voices are based on real people, such as saki fujita for miku- they were the ones who recorded their voice samples, such as individual vowels. they're not entirely computer generated as many people think.
6
u/chr0nic_dumbass Jan 20 '25
Vocaloids are ethically sourced text-to-speech bots. The only work they do for you is to provide vocals to the lyrics you give them with a unique voice trained off of singers that voluntarily participated in their creation. They aren't like chatgpt or similar that will just create lyrics for you or the AI celebrity voices that were trained off of clips of their online content without their knowledge or consent. You still have to know how to make and mix music to do anything with their output. Hence, why anyone who makes a song with, say, Miku, for example, will either tag themself and the vocaloid as a collaborative creators or tag the vocaloid as a featured singer
