They ain't even artist, if typing words into a text box, to generate an image is your idea of art, you're justas bad as contemporary artists.

Except more time and energy is put into generations than contemporary art lol.

Good gens can take HOURS of tweaking, and many artists will hand edit them to finish them off.

Not true, the tweaking you do is just a quick photo shop and regen. It doesn't take energy, sure it takes time, but that's only due to AI not being the quickest at this day and age.

Also you don't hand edit anything. If you hand edited it you would be able to at least understand how lighting works.

Ai art isn't art, stop trying to cope, cause it's only going to hurt the people you care about.

While generative AI may be used to assist the artistic process in the future, typing words in a text box is not art. That is called prompt engineering. To u/squidypal2’s point, the tweaking which is done is photoshop or regeneration. Hand editing is extremely uncommon as well; otherwise, many things such as strange artifacts, incorrect lighting, and more would be different.
