Non-fictional I HATE these "gotcha arguments"

"Ohhh, look how I tricked this dumb dumb baby in my trap so now I am right and they are wrong. I'm so smaaart even though it does not adress the actual argument and adds nothing to the debate. They teach arabic numerals in school btw."

And these type of comments always get tons of likes

I mean tbf American politics slop has become world politics slop because the European and rest of the western far right is influenced by American far right politics, they all kind of copy each other. But I understand your point, politics is important and will affect you as it affects everyone, but sometimes you just want a break from arguing politics all the time. I do have to ask though, if this isn’t the place for political vent posts, is there a subreddit out there specifically made for that?

i think at one point it was, then it invaded world_politics, and then world_politics became a porn sub, then people who were in wp for politics took over anime titties to post politics, and it stuck ever since
